lost you at "and clip it onto your image" what did you to there? The mouse movement you showed just moves the layer around, without seeming to to anything.

My bad for the quality, it's a 4K video but on YT mobile upload there's a bug where it only processes it as 720p

something that nobody actually talks about too, is how it recognizes different things and get the exact thing u want to remove, when he goes for removing the text close to the big 9, he selects a bit of the 9, but it recognizes he wanted only to remove the text and actually made the cutted portion of the 9, back, like it was in the other 9, that is crazy good

Exactly, it's smart and it recognises the image layout, background and the selection. I also like that they've improved the process speed too so it's quick and responsive. Plus you can use this tool for fixing edges and other areas

I've spent the last 4 hours watching videos telling how to "resize" images but they all warned me not to try to upscale, and instead only shrinking pics because it would lose quality. I knew they were misleading me because I see people do it everyday. It just took me 13.4 seconds to get the answer to my question after all those wasted hours! Thank you!!

Couldn't you apply the Blend if on text right after typing it? Was it necessary to save it in psd

yeh i get you and you have to save the file as a psd for map displacement to work. It uses the psd file as reference

If you'd try it with a Smart Object, there's a high chance it wouldn't work. So you need to rasterize the Smart object first. Just a small addition for this tutorial. Anyway, thank you for a useful video.
