Cool, a v5 might be the only way I could be out there upright. Still slowly learning my v10 sport in choppy water.

I almost felt like the extra width and somewhat flat bottom on the v5 made it more tippy in the chop and in surfing waves where maybe a more rounded bottom boat feels like it rolls over/through the chop. It might be the difference between the primary and secondary stability built into the different models.

I've seen other Hawaiians out there charging the shorebreak one other time, they had the whole sandys vibe setup wit a popup tent in the back of a pickup and reggae music blasting.

Yeah that was a fun day. I am the guy On the wing foil. I wish I new you where videoing them. I could have made it look even more interesting. they where sure riping it up!!!! Thanks for the fun images. I think that is a place with the potential for standup paddle or prone( with hand paddles ) downwind foiling. For the days when there is not enough wind for the wing. Hopefully when I get the skills down you will see me out there doing that. super cool thanks again!!!

You see any crab pots on the jetty surf during this filming? I was at the jetty yesterday there were two crab pots tied to a single buoy right by the jetty. Stretch of rope across the entire surf area…

I like the video. It’s nice to see it being used as a surf board. I take my Origami Paddler out on Lake Michigan. The boat is designed in a clever manner. I think the company had a chance to be successful, but they had a large backlog of orders at a price that made them unprofitable to produce.

@@r3df1ns pretty much yeah, the company went into receivership in 22, which means they were hoping to be bailed out by an investor or something. Haven't really heard what status it is in now.
