where is this simple yet powerful essence to be found in today's 'music'? How many tunes from today's top 100 will be listened to and loved in 40 or 50 years? JJ's songs age like fine wine. What I hear on the radio today makes me feel my age and whine.

Ironically, I learned of JJ Cale from John Sandford's novels (Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers series) and what a music jewel it was to discover. ❤❤❤

I remember, in college in the 70’s, some of us discovering the album “Naturally”. Everyone of us had different tastes in music, but all agreed that this album, and artist, was just wonderful. And that is still the case today.
