Those are carts used for recording commercials, promos, or single songs. Everything is digital now, they left the analog equipment and probably have laptops more powerful than that computer.

Not sure if your gonna see this I live round here me and my buddies go like every night because there starting demolition and we wanna get the best of it the building with the long hallway connecting two is gone with a big open feild there building with tall pillars on top is stripped to the skeleton and we have to sneak past security

This house is beautiful from an era when building a home was an artform the lovely California Bungalow style was really majestic with elegance architectural incorporating nature in mind and the irony here with the sloping roofs seemly becoming one with the ground, built not to dominant its surroundings but to become one with it. Sorry about if my ramble i just love the arts and craft movement.
