This video was often. I have sarcoidosis in so many organs. I'm now placed on bipap machine with oxygen concentrator. I have very bad anxiety and major depression. This is very overwhelming 😪

After yet another pneumonia on repeat with copd my mother had respiratory failure her oxygen saturation wouldn't stay stable and was all over the place 97 one min 66 at other times on same litre of oxygen and her c02 was 8 few days later 11. She was denied this machine. She was having 47 respirations a min at times. She wasnt given anything to help that and it bothered her. She has dementia and was scared of even the nebulizer mask but couldn't she have been sedated to have this bipap? They left her to die.

Hard to watch, since it's 'me' now who needs oxygen. I think I'm rejecting it somehow because I feel like maybe it's not working. I hope that feeling will pass.

My father had one of these in the ICU for COVID. It made him miserable. When he was placed on comfort care they removed the mask. He told my mother “I can’t breathe.” She asked him if he wanted it back on. He said “No” and died five minutes later. That mask was so bad, he chose death.

People look at me because I look rather young for 57, butter equate oxygen use with fragile older People and that's not me at all.. I’m watching this to better understand this type of treatment. My mom is in the ICU using this instead of intubation. We’re hoping for a recovery and are very optimistic and hopeful but the new dr she has is not. It’s very frustrating. I just really believe in miracles but her dr is so set on her passing away. It’s so hard :( I hope she pulls thru. I’m grateful for this type of technology. Thank you!
