In my opinion, the two best tones in mandolin, playing a beautiful tune masterfully. There are countless versions of this tune on YT, but I keep coming back to this one

I’d say yes. I have a big mon englemann and has this beautiful natural eq curve that allows the vocals to sit nicely.

She's the real thing. There are very few real songwriters around in the traditional sense of melody originality and invention. It requires work and genius. Sarah is my current favorite.

octave mandolin! the difference is that a mandocello is tuned like a mandola (CGDA) but one octave lower, whereas an octave mandolin is tuned like a mandolin (GDAE) but one octave lower

I'll tell you what, that might be my favorite video on KZfaq. John song is in my head all day every day. When I play it on my mandolin, I feel like I'm floating. It's a brilliant brilliant song and listening to him and Sierra play...... It is just heaven on earth.
