You have to wonder if Mr Klein stole Mr. Milwaukee's wife or something. Its hard to think of any other reason they would start just making copies of the Klein line that just look and feel like nothing more than quick knock-offs.

Stated to be capable of cutting hard wire, piano wire.....not tested for that? .....I'm interested in it's ability to do those tasks because most diagonal pliers and end cutters for sale and all my side cutter edges break off like a crispy cookie even when cutting protruding staples used in plastic welding.

Also the handle is a 1/2 in this tool is great

could you make a test/video cutting steel wire (piano wire) with them and post the results?

I can't reccommend these enough for home owners. They have a use for almost everything. I just had to fix my dryer and I used that and the 27-in-1 Klein screwdriver for 90% of it. I even used my impact driver with it. I've used them so much around the house and it's nice to bring just a couple of tools to do the job

The Klein Handles on all of theirs are just so nice. This Milwaukee handle is really nice too. The other multi bit driver Milwaukee handles suck. The Flip sockets for Klein are the same as Vaco and the flip sockets for Milwaukee are Malco flip sockets. They are nicer than the Kleins, IMO. They also sell the Malco flip sockets at HD. They come in Metric in that style. Klein does have Metric flip sockets for theirs as well.

These all suck. waaaay too heavy. try manipulating delicate 5/16 box screws with a fat 1.5in steel rod. You don't. just get a small socket/ratchet set.

Just an FYI Klein took a deal to be exclusive with Lowes. Home Depot reached out to Milwaukee to see if they had interest in making electrical tools to be exclusive to the Home Depot. They invested over 100 mil to design and create it all.

a good test is 1/4 20 screws.....i have a pair of these and no problem....they are a bit shorter than my kliens.....love the knipex 10 inch but they seem to chip at the end {brittle}....

Those aren’t combination Wrenches they’re adjustable wrenches, combination wrenches are the ones with a box end and a open end

Those screwdriver handles are garbage. If you try to torque down or untorque a stubborn screw/bolt, the black plastic piece will spin freely separating itself from the hard plastic surrounding it. Worthless. Buy wera

Klein makes to many different versions. I’ve always bought them and loved them but the latest pair I payed $45 for and hate them

Yup, it's Klein with better handles. Based on my testing so far, the bits, adjustable shafts, and flip sockets all appear to be interchangeable.

Imfrom the uk and bought the american version of these a couple years ago and much preferred it to the other european style they had over here. Was annoyed they didnt have it in metric at the time but i guess they do now ^_^

I live both tools and brands. It really depends on which type of work u r doing.

Why not use them the right way? Put your wire end into tool then push wire into wire end and crimp. It holds the wire end while you put wire excatly where you want it. The way you did it, is much harder and doesnt crimp near as good!

The 180 ones with comfort grip are the best tool I’ve ever had. Can’t imagine plumbing without them. Good for other applications too - pulling small nails, bending/ twisting, crimping, all sorts of stuff. 86..180 and 87..250 are the perfect combo for almost everything where you need to grip/turn something

I knocked tin for 30 years and sorry to burst your bubble, but a normal speed chuck does the same thing, as the points on your speed chuck spin on the points of the screw it takes it right down, give it a try, use a normal speed chuck or try it on high pressure duct sealer, the tan shit that’s messy but dries hard as hell, besides all that, it’s pretty cool, but not really necessary

I have the malco flip version and use them more often than I should. Rusted or painted hex screws white mastic covered roofing screws. There are many uses and has earned its spot in my bag. Never hurts to be prepared despite the 25 to 30 dollar bit.
