what turns "on" the belt pulley on a f-20 ? My f-20 has the cap off piece, where the pulley extension or belt pulley carrier goes on/ I 'm 69 now, and I still remember in the fifties my dad, using a corn binder and flat rack & bringing corn bundles to the silo filler and a farmall h would blow it up the fifty feet, or, I guess my dad added on to the silo later, so it might of only been 40 feet high
@nelsonamn11 ай бұрын
There is a small lever on the side of the transmission that turns it on and off. This is a little number 5 silo filler, the smallest one they made. I think 30 feet maybe 40 would of been max on this one.

@@nelsonamn thks for the reply, is it the same lever that turns on the power take off that handle is on the left side by the clutch pedal. number 5 silo filler, after taking another look i guess it is a small one thks again

I would guess somewhere around that 20 to 30’ range.

Back in the 60's and 70's we blew the stocks into John Deere Chuck Wagons, stacked it as high as we could without driving on it, then loaded into a manure spreader with extended sides, and drove into the cattle yard and spread it. All without ever having to physically touch it. The cattle really liked it they would eat some and then lay in the rest. It worked out great.

I spent many hours chopping stalks with my dad's Farmall M pulling an old Case flail chopper. We tried hooking an 8' IHC tandem disc behind the chopper, but it was quite the load in 2nd gear, especially when heading up that hill behind the barn. Good memories.

How does that pulley on the PTO Shaft come off of that tractor

I'll take the job of the guy who sits behind the H. He must be the brain of the crew. Like Mo of the 3 stooges, he has the hardest job; he has to do all the worrying.

We have a McCormick Deering No. 7 chopper blower that looks similar, maybe a little larger than this. It is in very good shape in the shed. Might be nice to use it a little but watching your video helps. Thanks.

Steel wheels on an H?
@henryofskalitz22282 жыл бұрын
It's a ww2 production h where the rubber supplies were real low for civilians thus they compromised by using the tried and true steel wheels

Also notice no battery, no lights, crank start. A basic model which could be purchased that way as well. Only option are the fenders. Rubber tires could also be ordered for easier steering. This is definitely WWII edition.
