This made my nerdy soul very happy to watch. I am especially equipped to enjoy videos like these as i am very fortunate to be both a nerd and an introvert! Thanks for the great explanation and especially thanks for not adding music. It is a crying shame that more people dont appreciate this video.

Great video! Huge facepalm moment though when you were standing outside alone wearing a mask. Even men of science truly lost the plot in 2020 and went full self-flagellation in an attempt to appease the false gods. Maybe remake this video without the mask to retain a bit of credibility.

There’s a reason why shoes companies are using synthetic leather nowadays, The EU Policy or anywhere in the world for that matter is strictly against making of genuine leather shoes in large scale, they have to hike the price so less people can afford the premium range but for regular models with the same price they aren’t allowed to manufacture as they used to.

I am installing archive libreoffice old 24.8.0.0 beta1 Windows aarch64 in safe. Then changing things a bit to make it work right. Wish me luck. It should work. I got Tanuki Justice running at full speed.

Where resistors and capacitors are connected in this?
@graychang99
@graychang99 3 ай бұрын
Resistors and capacitors are not involved in CMOS inverter operation; there is no need for them. However, there is parasitic (unwanted) resistance in the semiconductor materials and parasitic capacitance in the P-N junctions that slow down switching between the 0 and 1 states.

Nice illustration, but I have a question about the use of a tank car in the illustration. If the container is wide and shallow, the water pressure will not reflect to total volume in the tank car. It would be clearer if all the containers had the same diameter - i.e. - the pressure would be proportional to the volume of the water column. But thanks for clarifying the concept.
@graychang99
@graychang99 3 ай бұрын
You have a valid point, although the models are not very realistic anyway. The actual drip rate of a real container might not be proportional to the pressure at the bottom.
@jamesdeutsch2051
@jamesdeutsch2051 3 ай бұрын
@@graychang99 Interesting. I thought it was the height of the water column (pressure) that determined the rate.
@graychang99
@graychang99 3 ай бұрын
Certainly higher pressure at the bottom would have a higher drip rate, but I think the drip rate would be a nonlinear function of the depth or pressure. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orifice_plate

Thanks for this great Video, I have one question! I have a computer science background and still struggle with basic concepts like current. In 5:20 (Input=1V) you say "A conducting path connects 0 Volts to the output. I have a hard time imagine, what does 0 Voltage mean? Does it mean no current is flowing at all? Or just a small amount? I think i have a problem with the concept of a Supply of 0 Voltage (nmos) which creates a conductiv path to the output. If basically nothing gets "pushed" (electrons) how can there be a flow of current?

Can somebody explain why water acts like this because it wasn't explained in the video. I understand how it works but not exactly why. Like why don't the water molecules push against each other and "crush" eachother. Is it because of the molecular structure that they just repel each other or something like that ?

negatively charged acceptor and positively charged donor ? donors are n-type impuriry and negatively charged
@graychang99
@graychang99 4 ай бұрын
A donor atom donates a negatively charged mobile electron to the conduction band. The fixed-in-place donor atom becomes positively charged when it loses an electron.

Is there a real world application you can think of for the LC Oscillator in the hydraulic domain? Or a real world example of the capacitor in the hydraulic domain? I can't think of any practical uses for a hydraulic capacitor. Let me know if you have any :).

@@graychang99 Thanks for the response <3. I want to try extend the analogy to laplace method of modelling systems. Just like how a capacitor is 1/C*s and a Inductor is L*s for electrical systems (commonly taught in classical control). I thought maybe extremely simple hydraulic systems could be analyzed in a similar way. Thanks for the practical example, I will take a look at this system as a candidate for my little laplace modeling experiment.
