I saw him perform last year when I finally got to see it as my Christmas gift and he was amazing and I loved all of his dad jokes on social media. Amazing guy.

As a Giants fan I can say these Yankees fans are not as bad as the Los Angeles Dodgers fans. Since the Brian Stow incident if the Yankees fans did this to any Dodgers players I would like to shake their hands especially if Mookie Betts or Kershaw get tagged but otherwise not a good idea

Exactly. The players are humans too. There should be consequences. Fans should not be throwing things onto the field. Might be tough to actually find the fans but something needs to be done to protect the players.

Hahaha i saw the players running. As a Mets fans, i was focused on Amed Rosario, i wanted to get his attention and then I see him and the whole team running to the outfield so that’s why i said “that’s awesome”. After that I look up and see a bunch of beer and stuff thrown at the players. Fans can say whatever they want, but I’m 100% against fans throwing stuff on the field. I’m a Mets fan but I dont hate the Yankees. I would be saying the same thing if it were Mets fans at Citifield. I was actually rooting for the Yankees since i’m a New yorker, you can tell by the excitement in my voice to Gleyber’s winning hit.

@johnbrown I can’t make a general statement like that. It’s the few 20-30 fans that ruin it for the 50-60k fans that are in the Stadium. I believe some fans think that because they pay for a ticket, that gives them the right to verbally and physically abuse the players. At the end of the day, these players are performing for the fans’ entertainment and they are human beings as well. Some times people forget that.

As a Yankee fan I’m embarrassed. If the Yankees don’t press charges against these people then MLB should step in and fine the Yankees. They have cameras all over the place so they can’t say they don’t have the ability to find out all responsible. As a Yankees fan I’d like to apologize to the Cleveland players, their families, their fans for this absolutely disgraceful and classless behavior.

@@omny6686 thats true, but may be tough since people move seats or later in the game move closer to the field if there is an empty seats. Easier if it was middle of game to find the people. At the end of the game, everyone leaves and goes home.
