I'm a dedicated catch and release enthusiast. I throw back EVERY kind of fish that isnt a prolific breeder. I do, however, keep fish like bluegills, crappie, catfish, carp etc.... and leavee the other fish to live and reproduce---so i can catch MORE of them in the future.

Well, if you want to CONTINUE to catch 20 inch plus walleyes, you have to throw BACK 20 inch plus walleyes if you want to eat some in the future.

I would say a 20 to 21‘ boat does real well out there. Nitro makes the ZV20 and ZV21, and they are both set up real well for erie fishing whether you’re jigging or trolling.

That’s a Power Pole shallow water anchor, I use it for speed control. I put drift paddle on it.

As of right now, the Power Pole trolling motor does not link up to Lowrance. I actually like to use the remote better because it’s much more handy to use while I’m standing in the back of the boat.
