I think the hyphen is mistaken in the kit e kat cat food, ( the e was a lot smaller ) and it looked like a hyphen and I think the names being similar it just got mistaken. Henry viii never had a turkey leg. It was gloves. But, there was a film I remember when I was growing up about Henry where he was feasting and eating turkey, when in truth turkey didn't appear until the 1600's.
