In high school in Oklahoma, Thorpe was only the schools second best athlete. There was another Indian bigger stronger and faster. But Thorpe stayed w it, the better athlete did not. Imagine that fact, second best in high school. Wow

I think you totally missed the policies that many would consider “socialist” that was required to address the land concerns in the rehabilitation of Japan’s land after the nuclear bombs were dropped on them. There are large swaths of Chicago and other urban cities that most civilized countries would consider unfit for humans to live near due to contamination and the long term health effects they cause. These areas remain poisoning the most vulnerable and least able to withstand the negative impacts thanks in large part to GoP policies restricting EPA and other regulatory bodies from holding polluters accountable. It’s also worth pointing out that charity donations relative to income has reached historic lows at the same time Republican legislators have cut programs that these programs supplement. This is at the same time in the Post Roe world in which those programs are needed even more so. The rates of middle income taxation have been exacerbated by the Trump Administration’s tax cuts, placing a larger financial burden on end user while cutting taxes for the top 1% and corporations. You spend time arguing about the current administration’s Education Policy, yet the Trump Administration’s Secretary Betsy DeVos used her position to directly enrich herself by using her policies to force schools to pay for services from companies she and her immediate family own or are Primary Stakeholders in, despite there being Zero 3rd party research showing the efficacy of the programs that DeVos forced upon Public Schools and wasting tax payer dollars. There is a clear trend in the post-Trump GoP (though many would argue it’s existed much longer) that has pushed back against government transparency and engaged in directly enriching themselves using their position. None of this is to say Democrats are somehow immune from such corruption, but when these individual incidents come to light the Democrats are not attacking these investigations and their legitimacy, unlike the GoP. There is ZERO place for political violence, and you’re attempts to hand-wave away the actions of January 6th while pointing at a handful of actions of those on the left is hypocritical. I could point at just as many random examples of those from the MAGA movement utilizing violence against others they disagree with. The difference is that January 6th included a stated goal of subverting the results of a free and fair election. The actions of January 6th were the type of thing that only occurs in 3rd World Countries. It is the type of action in direct opposition to Democracy. And even now almost 4 years later, we have people on the right falsely claiming that the 2020 election was stolen, despite more fraudulent votes for Trump in 2016 being identified by December of 2016 than fraudulent votes for Biden have been found to this day from the 2020 election. I am a christian white cis het male, and the idea of there being a culture war against me is laughable. It is not a zero sum game. Offering Black, Gay, Trans, or any other group the same rights as me doesn’t take away my rights. Any your final call to “vote 3rd party” feels foolish at best considering how our current political landscape in the wake of Citizen’s United has made 3rd party candidates even less viable than they had been prior. We need to implement ranked choice voting nation wide if we want to give any room for 3rd parties to rise. We need to get money out of politics. Sorry if that got a little rambly, as I started typing this on my phone as I watched the video, and it’s not exactly easy to pause without losing my whole comment’s worth of writing. I ended up here as I wanted to watch the fencing videos with my son who has recently taken up the sport, but this was the next video of yours KZfaq fed me. Based on the handful of other comments I saw on this video, perhaps it would have been a better idea to make a second channel for this type of political commentary with a short announcement video on your main channel pointing to the other channel for the unrelated content.

5:15 “These” may very well be referring to “all wild animal that run or creep on the earth”. It’s a last resource when you’re about to starve. “These” is supposed to refer to the last thing mentioned. It is definitely not referring to grains. By the way, the whole seed is very healthy for you, only the refined processed stuff is harmful. 14 All grain is ordained for the use of man and of beasts, to be the staff of life, not only for man but for the beasts of the field, and the fowls of heaven, ***and all wild animals that run or creep on the earth;*** 15 And these hath God made for the use of man only in times of famine and excess of hunger.
@recsporteducation45943 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. You make an excellent point. I can see that I may be mistaken. It is still relevant that, as you say, processed grain products are causing the most harm to health in our society today, along with other factors of course. It remains a point worth discussion how grains are used in our lives today. The WOW is a 200 year old revelation. Taking your point to heart, it may be that the revelation is outdated for our time. The first presidency may need to address the health concerns of our day, beyond what D&C 89 can offer. I appreciate you taking the time to present your thoughts.

Thank you well done video . If hot drinks then what about hot soup, hot food etc, I think it’s more about the chemicals in certain hot drinks. The grain thing probably refers to the sentence prior to verse 15 which is referring to animals. It doesn’t make sense that grains are to be the staff of life and then to only eat sparingly. However I’m glad you pointed out all the unhealthy versions of grains that have been processed.

Comment about - Moderation - A word of caution. Some substances, particularly in food and drink, can be addictive, some more so than others. In this context, we should heed the advice to consider what is good, better, or best for our health. We should exercise wisdom and intelligence based on sound science and learning. We should ask ourselves if partaking of any food or drink that is addictive or damaging to any degree would be wise? For instance, sugar has no nutritional value. It only provides energy. Yet, in animal studies, it has been found to be eight times more addictive than cocaine. It has also been shown to not only raise glucose levels but also the insulin that follows. Type two diabetes has been referred to as 'chronic carbohydrate overconsumption syndrome.' For these individuals, consuming sugars, even in moderation, is akin to an alcoholic trying to 'just drink in moderation.' This would not be wise. Therefore, the old adage of 'moderation in all things' may not always be the best advice. We need to be more mindful about our choices. OUTSTANDING presentation on understanding the good vs bad elements within some herbs, drinks, plants, etc. OUTSTANDING presentation about coffee, tea, and the danger of hot drinks. OUTSTANDING presentation on the dangers of grains, and overconsumption of related carbohydrates and especially processed foods. OUTSTANDING emphasis on verse 4 of section 89. I have felt the same way, and totally agree. Corporations own everything from big agra, pesidices, chemical and genetic modification companies, to big food manufactures, to big pharmaceutical companies. Their main goal is to make money. Kudos for bringing to light the influence of these entities over governments, policy, and accepted norms. LOVED the emphasis on becoming more educated and aware of the dangers and need to take better care of our health. LOVED the expose on the dangers of seed oils aka vegetable oils. Some things to consider. Comment about - Fruit and Veg in season - Fruits it turns out are very insulinogenic. The fructose sugars stimulate the hormone insulin which in turn stimulates fat storage. If we look to other omnivores for reference, for example the bear. We can see that the bear will eat lots of berries during the spring and summer months. This adds a lot of fat to the animal. The bear is then able to live on that fat during the lean winter months in a state of ketosis. In our day we eat fruit to abundance. It's available at every corner market. It's GMO'd to be bigger sweeter, and more enticing than ever. The core sugar has been extracted and put into everything from soft drinks, to mayonnaise and salad dressings as High Fructose Corn Syrup or HFCS. What makes this even more dangerous beyond what was mentioned in this video, is that the damage caused by this sugar or glycation is NOT MEASURED ON THE A1C test which shows glycation or sugar damage to red blood cells. So, it can lead to or make diabetes worse! Comment about - Meat. The word 'sparingly' can and should be left open to personal interpretation and revelation. In section 49 we read that "18 And whoso forbiddeth to abstain from meats, that man should not eat the same, is not ordained of God; 19 For, behold, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and that which cometh of the earth, is ordained for the use of man for food and for craiment, and that he might have in abundance." 21 And wo be unto man that sheddeth blood or that wasteth flesh and hath no need. For me, I've come to learn that meat is the most nutritionally dense and bioavailable food on the planet for our bodies. It contains all of the essential amino acids or 'proteins' needed in perfect combination with essential fatty acids. Essential meaning our bodies cannot make them on our own. Plants have defense chemicals that inhibit absorption of some proteins and minerals. Event to the point of diminishing the benefits of meats. Yes, plants have some good things. I love veg, but I've learned to eat it cautiously and with an understanding it is a stop gap or meat to tide me over until I can obtain proper nourishment. This may sound counter to the established thinking. My thinking is that meat is given. To be had in abundance. Not to be used wastefully but "sparingly" and with thanksgiving. Given our bodies are designed to be more carnivorous, I have chosen to eat a more meat based diet. I do so with thanks and not to overindulgence. This is with the knowledge and support of my leaders. It has not prevented me from obtaining a temple recommend. One presentation I would highly recommend everyone watch next is this: The Plagues of Prosperity | Benjamin Bikman | 2018 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rsuWl6iJy62dmmQ.htmlsi=9CpPi08wOhZdrV3a With respect to diet, in my opinion, the Word Of Wisdom is not a call to the extreme of veganism. It's not saying you can't choose that lifestyle. You can. But, I'll add that it must be undertaken with much learning and suppliemention. Why? It is not the ideal diet for the human animal. You will need to know what it's lacking in. Then you will need to add those supplements.
