Ive noticed a sound has started coming from my clutch 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ almost like a powersteering pump noise...clutch is about to go...hard to decide if i wanna replace or just buy something else at this point...she has done me very well...280k miles and runs really strong...just dont know if its worth it to fix in the end really

My axle was seized to the bearing too. Had to pull axle out from diff and beat and spray penetrant to get axle to move.

There's also a relearn procedure that needs to be performed after replacing o2 sensors. It resets the stored levels for the maf sensor. Otherwise it will still throw a code even though its fixed. Its a Nissan thing.

So, a quick tip for anyone doing this job, me and my friend found it easier to get the top bolts and clips by unbolting the sternum and reaching down into the top of the bellhousing since it’s right there, makes it way easier!

I did this job for a friend, he bought a clutch from ebay. Ebay is not my first choice for a clutch. Id go to Z1 motorsports or buy an OEM clutch if possible. It really depends on your budget and what your looking for performance wise.

@@bmxkingJR2 I just bought some 6 ton jack stands, goes up to 2ft tall and got a low-profile transmission mount. Ordered a clutch assembly and flywheel from Z1 motorsports.. I think one the the pressure plate teeth broke in my clutch, didn't hear much noise from it when it went out so don't think it damaged much, just think it's caused the clutch disc to be stuck in place.

I see the filter did not come out or install any easier by removing the glove box. So, you might want to skip removing the glove box.

My e-brake is locking up when I roll forward and back, could that be a cause of bad shoe brakes….

Get both rear wheels in the air, remove the tires and check the parking brake cable and make sure its not getting jammed. If the (parking brake cable) is good I would check the (parking brake shoes) on both sides and make sure that system is working properly. You should find the problem or at least get closer to a solution. Good Luck! Let me know what you find!

I think it might be easier to pop those ball joint cones off with a flat head and hammer but whatever works works, thanks for the video!

Thank you for this video. This was the only video I could find that was full of information on the auto transmission for the X specifically. I was worried that it might have some differences since it is AWD vs RWD. Very nice camera work, good commentary and not too long or too cut.

I did this job over the weekend. Took the transmission out one day, installed the new clutch and other parts the next day.
