Saw them that year in belgium in the Brielpoort Deinze. Also great concert. The edge could really create soundshapes with guitar amp and his memory man delay pedal.

Fico pensando,o que séria de mim se eu não tivesse conhecido U2. Meu jeito de viver e ver a vida foi esses caras que mim moldaram.

In your jeans, frenzy Another movie that I didn't watch with you (oh, oh, oh) Another movie and we're gonna have to move (no, no, no) That final terror is in your house somewhere Hiding in boxes, behind closed doorways Out from the forest adjacent to your garage I've seen its marks at the corner of your eyes Nothing works Nothing works for everyone Good stories are bad lives Good stories are bad lives Take your hands off your neck and Hold on to the ghost of my body You know that good lives make bad stories You can text me When punching mattresses gets old Don't think it'll always be this way Not comforted by anything I say We were wrecks before we crashed into each other Such a good idea If it turns you on We have breakdowns (oh, oh, oh) And sometimes we don't have breakdowns (no, no, no) I wanna hear you going psycho If you're going psycho I wanna hear Every conversation just ends with you screaming Not even words, just ah, ah-ah, ah, ahh Take my hands off your neck and Hold on to the ghost of your body I know that good lives make bad stories You can text me When punching mattresses gets old What if it'll always be this way? Not comforted by anything you say We were wrecks before we crashed into each other Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more Don't worry You and me won't be alone no more

The crazy thing , I am from Brazil , and juse 8 years later U2 landed in our land to perform. How we were out of the circuit of shows and events. Today, the things are different. I saw u2 two times here and Brazilians , many people, are fan of them , more than in Ireland. I lived in Ireland, and how they became an enemy for that society, very odd.

Sounds terrible. Mac's flat (I listened to another version on this tour where it was the same) and hoarse and can't hit the high notes. Cringe-inducing.

Paul McGuinness says here that they'll be touring for the next 12 months - that would have taken them to the middle of 1988. It never happened, they stopped in December of that year.

This is a pretty amazing piece of footage. I’ve seen live aid 85 clips for years, but always the same angle. It was nice to see a bit of behind the scenes from then as well. I wasn’t alive quite yet then, but wish I could go back in time to a u2 concert in the 80s.

Entertaining piece of history. It's cool that street video in Las Vegas is echoed with the completely opposite production vibe at The Sphere.
