American here….never heard of pudding with meat in it before. How would you rate the taste?

It's one of those oddities about the UK, we also have black pudding made from blood. To me the taste and texture is amazing. Give it a try and see what you think.

If I wanted to use bones for the marrow fat what bones should I use lamb or beef or bth
@LazyCookPete
@LazyCookPete 4 күн бұрын
The thigh bones or femurs of beef are generally the best available bones for marrow. Adding a teaspoon of vinegar to the bone broth will draw out more of the goodness from the bones.

Hi Pete. I made these before and loved them. I was thinking of making a meatloaf out of this mix . What would you suggest for time and temperature ❤
@LazyCookPete
@LazyCookPete 29 күн бұрын
Sounds great! I would cook it at 180C/350F for at least 20 min per Lb/50 min per kilo, plus an extra 20 mins. When using pre-cooked beef, the lowest a meatloaf internal temp should be before eating is at least 71C/160F.

But my mum used grated carrots, onion egg ,,wostershire and s&p tomato sauce. Rolled i to ballls dusted in flour or bread crumbs . Cooked in the pan finished in the oven.
