Impressive restoration, looks good as new. The McMillan motors like the one you put on yours also has a history of use on Lakewood, Holmes, and Patton, so that's a pretty decent choice of motor. I may or may not be getting one soon, the video definitely comes in handy with showing how they're disassembled and reassembled. The one I'll be getting definitely needs a good cleaning, repaint and polishing. What is a good way to clean and polish it without the use of shop equipment? Since I won't have access to those kind of equipment.

Can you put 2 part epoxy directly onto vinyl stickers Or do you have to seal them 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I want to wrap my wood columns with white wrap. I understand the prep. I believe I will put outside corners on them to make sure the wrap stays on! Where and what brand do you suggest I use/purchase? One side will be exposed to sun light for a couple of hours a day in the summer especially. Thank you!

I’m wanting to do epoxy resin pour over a vinyl corn hole wrap but have read some say it want bond and will separate. What I’m trying to find out is will it work or not. Or am I just best at applying the wrap and staying clear of using the epoxy. Thanks for any input and information

Hi there. I hope you're still tracking comments on this video. I'm likely going to start a project that I was planning on using MDF and a vinyl decal. Your video is great and showed me what to expect. I saw you had a spray bottle of poly. I have a can of brush-on poly --would this be too much moisture for the MDF at once and make it bubble? I also saw some edge banding options that had a bit of a thicker profile, but having trouble finding a supplier. Product is 1/2 inch thickness, coloured vinyl (I believe it's vinyl), thicker in the middle giving it a slightly rounded profile. I think it just applied over the edge and adheres with heat. I'm wondering if you're familiar with this product and know any only suppliers. Thanks so much!

Poly acrylic or Polourathane?? Links above for poly shows the spray bottle?

The self-centering jig you said was around a 1/16" off centre is adjustable. I use one of those myself. There's a threaded locking collar which allows micro-adjustment to make sure the guide block is exactly centred when the jaws are clamped. But I'm sure you would know that.

Wanted to thank you for your video I am going to start on a wood desk and wrapping it with car vinyl seems incoherent but here we go... your video gave me the intel I need to proceed. I'll post in a few weeks. TY

This method is just bad. There are much better existing methods to collect the dust, All the dust not just 75%
@user-dp8nz7qn8e

The proper way to collect dust is from the bottom for heavy particles and from the top using a blade guard. You solution still sprays dust in your face and direction. It is NOT a good solution. Use a "BIG Gulp funnel under the saw and high speed and move a high volume of air through a 4-6" hose. On the blade Guard use a 2/5" hose. Shark Guard makes an excellent guard. Problem solved . No video needed.

Pretty cool. Just like in my fishing kayak, I can'i stand an obstructed view; or a bunch of hose/mechanisms hanging over my saw. Now all I need is to invent the Aluminum magnet and I'll be all set!

I drop the guide pin in the first hole to rest it against the reference edge and it’s pretty secure. Drill, then drop the pin into the hole and go about drilling the rest. Sometimes I don’t even have to clamp it as hand pressure is enough. I have the machined aluminum kit and really like it.

Help me out with gaming arcades for the mall. I manufacture them. But the surface finish is dull. I put vinyl directly on hdhmr/mdf board. Can you suggest for thickness of vinyl I should use and how to seal the surface to a smooth finish. Thanks.

Home made idea, I see your using a zero Clarence insert on your saw. This closes off most of the gap a normal table saw insert plate has Its just a narrow gap depending how high the blade is. You have a large insert plate with no holes i it, how about drilling holes and rounding them over to pull down into the table Be it 1/2" or 3/4" using fosner bits This will help make downdraft like a sanding table, the dust flying at you has to be from the back of the blade because the blade has passed down into the table where it should have come off the gullet's Also a soft brush would help loosen them off the blade, Plus you need a powerful dust collection system to help pull the dust into the table saws cabnits My 2017 hybrid Jet proshopII table saw with the orignal insert plate lets most the dust fall to the floor if the vacuumed and dust deputy doesn't catch it. It should do even better with a larger dust collection system and closed bottom saw. The hybrid saws line a closed cabnit but has an open bottom. I don't have an issue kicking dust back at me. Also the type of blade your using plays into it. Deep gullet.
