What you should do is get a small propane kiln kit off Amazon or eBay same with a jewelry casting kit. And cast those golfballs bearings big dice..or custom dried clay peices. And sand cast recycled metal into the cavity. Make your own sling ammunition.

@Road Dawg is this a round braid? I've got the Matthew walkers down, I'm now struggling to understand the braid I've only ever braided flat and not many times. It's seems so from the video but perspective wise a bit difficult. I did move down the 1.5 or so from the first knot fir the loops and placed another matthew walker, I'm using 550 cord, and it's definitely on the stiff side! I really like how the Matthew walker knots turned out, I'm not familiar with a lot of knots, so learning it was definitely interesting to say the least!

I hope you dont mind this suggestion. But this would be a perfect tutorial to follow if the camera angle was filming from your perspective (like over your shoulder view), or at least from above. This makes it so easy for someone (like me lol) with no experience, to follow you move for move. Sometimes the side angle views and changing camera angles makes it quite difficult to keep track of what goes where. I hope you will consider redoing this tutorial with the better viewing angles. As your actual sling design utilising paracord is one of the best ive seen and exactly what ive been searching for. All other sling making tutorials using paracord just use a single strand of paracord for the arms (not sure if thats a correct term). So the sling doesn't seem very strong, or at least like it wouldn't last as long as your design. The finished sling you created is a great piece of craftmanship and looks like it would stand many years of slinging. Love it
@roaddog7080Ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, that would be a great idea, some of the really good paracord craft guys on KZfaq do it like that. There's a lot of moving parts in this design so it would definitely help. Not sure if I'll have time do one one any time soon but keep perservereing to make this sling! it doesn't have to be exactly like mine to work, I figured it out by playing around with like 10 different designs during covid to try and replicate practical paracord's slings.

@@roaddog7080 Thanks for reply. Ye no rush on the video if you find the time. I’ll have to wait for it though as I don’t know the first thing about this Paracord weaving, so I would literally be following you as you do it lol. Soo can’t even play around, other than creating something with one single strand. I’d much rather have a robust woven design like you’ve done.
