In Australia, a lot of businesses end up getting sold at less than one year true net profit, but many are sold for between one and two years net profit, so this does represent a pretty good deal from those numbers. But like a lot of things, it’s about how you structure it and protect your risk.

What if someone inflates their income on their taxes statements. Maybe they inject their own money or money from other businesses to make it seem like the busniess is much more profitable than it really is?

The purpose of due diligence is to uncover things like this and the Sale and Purchase Agreement has warranties that give you some protection around activities like this

Jonathan do you know any good brokers in Australia?
@theDealmakers12 күн бұрын
if you mean business brokers, no - you are always better off going straight to the owner. I'm running an event in Australia in November: dealmakers.co.uk/Australia

Wouldn’t touch that with a 10 feet pole- it’s yearly once with no recurrence - need to look for clients constantly-low barrier to entry due to subcontractors-everything transitioning to online-so you really want more???🎉🎉🎉

The only situation where i might buy this, is if I already had a similar business, and adding the assets of this business would add clients to my existing one.

It sounds like the owner may also be 1 of only 2 FTE Drs , revenue could be then only coming from pathology lease and 1 allied health practitioner. If NHS is at all like the Australian health system then recruiting FTE Doctors would be a challenge.

From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family?
