I stopped playing Apex when they reworked evo shields. Everything new I've heard from Respawn/EA since then has just been terrible. I don't think Apex will ever die if it's still successful after this. A Respawn dev could lay a fat steamer on the sidewalk, put an Apex logo next to it and charge $20 and Apex fans would get on their hands and knees, lap it up and thank Respawn. Ridiculous how complacent people are with this kind of garbage. Same thing with Destiny, Halo, Battlefield, just about every AAA developer at this point.

the pc is not better than a console and a console is not better than pc. there is only a platform that fits your needs the best. sorry for my english.

Only people who dislike Elden ring immensely are one of three 1- you played for an hour before dying to a boss over and over instead of leveling up to get stronger and you then talk trash about how the game is too tedious and boring 2-you deleted the game thinking you wasted 60 bucks because of the exploration factor and how “repetitive” it is to wander around and kill bosses, so you then make a video about how there’s nothing to do 3-you’ve never even played to Margit or Godrick and deleted it for being not what you’d thought it’d be, which is a combat action simulator where every 5 seconds, there’s an explosion. Bonus-you deleted and reinstalled only to delete again because you don’t have time to play and it’s too time consuming. Of course it’s time consuming, it’s an open world game😕

I was actually enjoying the game prior to this update. After season 22 Im officially retired. Bye Apex! ✌🏻

Honestly, ER is just better than Zelda purely because it's not limited by being a literal children's game. As much as people love to act like hating games appealing to children is "edgy" you litteraly just can't get the same quality when you need to constantly worry about something being a little too intense for a child. Godrick cutting off his own hand and replacing it with a dead dragon, Rykard litteraly ripping a giant sword of writhing arms out of his throat, not to mention a LOT of the lore around perfumers, omens and other things couldnt be achieved in any game appealing to children.

Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 just nuked their own game with the worst update since launch. What is going on? Why are so many developers just unable to listen to their players and keep them happy?

I stopped playing when all the dumb collection events came out don't regret it plus all the woke stuff in the game the cherry on top

Epic gains learn their lesson which they’re not going to fix their stupid launcher and stop putting exclusive games. Put Fortnite in steam put rocket league back and steam put everything back in steam and then you can make better stuff or make your launcher better epic game so we can have a competitive match between each other geez

I'm a fan of both. I'm an adult with a job so I can have both. I've got demon souls, ds1-3, blood borne, sekiro, elden and all dlc. I've also got every zelda since nintendo all the way to totk. People just like to cry I guess

I don't get the hate from either side of the spectrum, mostly just opinions formed from not having played one or the other; which is okay i guess, but I would strongly suggest to not write off either purely out of spite or because it's different than what you normally play. The final boss in Totk is what ultimately convinced me to start elden ring this year, it made me want all the exploration and spectacle but harder. While you compare these games, just remember this conversation can only happen because of the greatness of BOTH games. There's a reason you don't see hot takes like "elden ring vs assassin's creed valhalla" or "Totk vs immortals fenyx rising"

I been enjoying some of your videos I watched recently, especially the souls ones. But with this particular video its mixed for me. You have some very reasonable complaints that I totally agree with but some points you stated are just complete bias and "thats like, just your opinion man". For instance, the new map has his flaws but isnt a complete shitty map which from my point of view sounded like you were speaking for the whole community there. The aim assist nerf is a little but great change thats even somewhat visible in matches (spectating controller players), I just think it wont affect the average player that much since they have other things to worry about at their skill level. At 4:46 you were complaining and blaming about you dying very fast because of the visibility on the new map? Visibility is a complete valid complain but thats most certaintly not why you are dying very quickly judging by your gameplay. And the aim assist nerf definitely wont get you better results aswell. It really just sounds me like skill issue and lack of game sense there. How I said, something like visibility, UI (clutter) and how EA and Respawn progressively destroy Apex are reasonable and valid complaints, but thats not something you can entirely blame on your gameplay experience. Im surprised you managed to get 2K hours into this game. I still wish you a nice day Joe.

I had 1200 hours on Apex and gave after I lost all my stuff with the cross progression. That was when I stopped playing. I may go back, but this is putting me off.

I stopped playing like 5-6 seasons back and played less and less often season 9 or 10. I also have ALOT of playtime. I just started to get bored of BR. Then i started again here and there when they added tdm and gun game

I quit in season 18 due to so much cheating. I can't imagine how bad it is now.

As someone that helped QA this game from Season 8-13, I'm not shocked by this. They were testing this kind of stuff early on when I was still there.

Hit registration and sound problems are even worse this season it's fuckin incredible how they're making existing issues worse while buffing annoying legends like Rampart for literally no reason at all

If you can't beat Mohg, u shouldn't be playing the dlc. This game is so easy (yes there are times it is ultra cheesy) but you eventually win. I think it's the people that purposefully make the game harder, that complain the most. No summons, no vigor, fight bosses without leveling first. Lol.

Elden ring fan boy here quite the glazer if I had to be honest. Elden ring is hands down the best game I've ever played. I've played a lot of games from a lot of genres and while there are some games that do certain aspects of elden ring better there is none that does what elden ring does in my eyes. The beauty of it. The gameplay. The lore. The bosses. Everything feels so amazing. The story is great too but it takes a few playthroughs to truly get a grasp of what's going on which imo makes it so much better than other games. Having to dig up lore and piece the story together from what little you're given. The emotions too man. The first time Hugh lost his memory for me? Tears man literal tears. He never truly got to see me cut down god with his God slaying weapon. Radahns story? Holding back the fing stars!? The absolute chadliness of some of these characters. Ofc the best character. CURSE YOU BAYLEEEEEEE!" Elden ring is a masterpiece it is a game worth glazing and Zelda is overrated. Hot take. Zelda is running on pure nostalgia factor at this point. Also most of Nintendo is mid too. Mario? Mid. Pokémon? Mid. The wii was a flop and the few good games Nintendo has are still just ight. It is not what "Real" gamers play on. It is what children play on because that's what Nintendo core audience is.
