Hey I have a question. I see you did a drone shot. Did your drone have any problem flying since there is a small airport in Waimea ?
@thejoestonyadventureshow8395
@thejoestonyadventureshow8395 4 ай бұрын
Waimea Airport is mostly helicopter tours and skydiving. Before flying any drone contact the FAA and go through the proper paperwork. But in this scenario if you didn’t, I wouldn’t be too concerned

Son, friend and I did this couple months after I had shoulder surgery...not too bright. Look down at the rocks underwater, and don't aim for them. Wait for the swell to sweep you up on the rocks, and hold on. Worst part actually is walking on the hot lava rocks in August, barefoot. A blast, can't wait to do it again

Hey visitors, be sure to bring some extra money for the big fine you might have to pay for trespassing. These signs are erected to protect you. Many have died at these sites. hey, great place to ride! Does it mean you can just come there and ride without any permissions? Also do they have places to camp without reservation?
@kevinm3873
@kevinm3873 Жыл бұрын
You don't need any permissions but you have to have your dirt bike registered and insured. Your bike must also have a headlight, taillight and spark arrester. There is also some places to random camp but you must be 1KM off the main road.

You might do a bit more research on the life of Grey Owl and read his writings. Great experience though, I'm sure. Would canoeing be easier? Apparently, Grey Owl was a heavy drinker at this time, but I guess he didn't pack in cans of beer. LOLOL!

I was just gonna say when i saw you walking off in the video that the hawaiian kiawe is very strong, usually if you see it around you shouldn't be going that far, he had a pretty thick shoe that it cut through real easy. Plus wasp like to hang out near the fresh water openings too down by the beach. cool vid though

don't be fooled on how quickly these clips show them making the waimanu trip they are strong well prepared hikers. The whole trip from waipio to waimanu is 7+ miles. I prob wouldn't have done it if i knew that info prior. The descent into waimanu is some of the craziest slippery one wrong move spots in the world. but that being said I would never trade my adventure for anything, and the crew i was with (kels,kelly,b bear, jason. rip markie boi.
