Can you please make a video on how you basically pilot a helicopter and the basics of how they work, cyclic, collective, throttle, pitch and yaw etc ? TBH I use MSFS and have a rudimentary flight simulator rig, I'd like to know if I'm flying it with any degree of realism, thanks 😊

❗I think, there is a big mistake here. If the main rotor turns left, the fuselage turns right! The law says OPPOSITE reaction. It's obvious, if you think about it. Please comment.

01:25 Aircraft is turning in the direction of rotor rotation. think the graphics are wrong? the equal and opposite direction would have the aircraft go clockwise right?

why helicopters pitch down and the helicopter will automatically go straight and speed up?

Well, that's what is explained in the video. The tail rotor annihilates the net torque produced by the law of opposite reaction.

it does, unless it's a coaxual(or however u spell that) helicopter, then it's countered by the second rotor.

Sir I have one doubt Is tail rotor can rotate both directions I mean clock wise and anti click wise
@starliteaviationgroup128
@starliteaviationgroup128 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Venkaiah Swami . Thank you for your question as it is a very good one. A tail rotor can be designed to rotate in either direction, it is completely up to the manufacturer as each helicopter’s design is different. For example, the Robinson R22 spins anti-clockwise but the Robinson R44 and R66 spin clockwise due to the fact that it has much more downwash and it has a larger horizontal stabiliser (tail) and Robinson found it to be much more effective this way. Hope this helps.
