This is the station that turned me on to New Age music back during the 80's. Wow.... this takes me all the way back to SoCal, hanging out at the park by the Queen Mary in Long Beach, staring at the water until the wee hours of the morning. Some good times right there. ♥

So much fun listening to this and I hope it stays up. Ellis B Feaster did a shorter one the other day. Much respect and thank you for saving and/or acquiring these memories because this is how it really went down. It's funny but I don't hear that many later ones including Wendy Williams when she did the evening shift in the early 90's. Whatever you have or find is always appreciated. Perhaps taping faded out by that point. "STRONG SONGS" was another moniker that was deployed!

Atlantic Starr's "Don't take me for granted" with Barbara Weathers in the lead. Wow! Forgot about that one.

NYC had an earthquake the morning this mix was on. The night before my friend and I went out to 1018, (The Roxy) and the earthquake happened right when we were getting home but I don't think we felt it. (I don't think we were feeling much at that point! haha) Thanks for bringing it back!!
