Ok this seems like a better solution than nailing on shoes. Is it expensive?

Do you have to nip away the frog area underneath from the pad?

Somebody needs to address this horses white line disease, long toes and underrun heels.

Why cut the heels? Everyone keeps cutting heels, which only serves to stimulate the front of the hoof to grow forward. No wonder thoroughbreds are so prone to thin hoof walls and lameness issues.

@@3dhoofcare127 awesome! I’m consulting with my farrier, I have a mare that is very thin walled and soled and we’re trying to correct her angles but having problems with her being sore when we nail shoes on. I’m wondering if this would be something that could help strengthen her hoof wall, and be something we can nail to or even just build up her heels and not have to put shoes on?

Absolutely that’s the whole purpose of it. The weak walls thicken up over time as well as strength is added back into the foot. It’s been revolutionary for the thin walled racehorse.
