I randomly stumbled across your channel but I love your short videos so much. It seriously makes me feel so at home home again, nothing I’ve seen has ever compared to experiencing the magic of all the seasons from a country home/farm ❤ Tha k you so much for sharing. Even just a few moments of each little thing you find, or are working on, a long-abandoned vintage truck, wild strawberries, stunning cone flowers, or sweet little commentary tidbits about the pretty &delicious eggs you get from a local farm, the neighbor that brought you a beautiful flower, or getting barn siding roofing 2nd hand from just nearby… From my own perspective, your channel is like a generous helping of bliss, comfort, and nostalgia all wrapped up in a big ol’ handmade quilt that was passed down by granny 😂❤

Thank you so much. You brought me to tears with your heartfelt and thoughtful words and I am so grateful that I can bring little slices of joy into the world. I will be sure to continue to capture the small moments and share them in the hope of bringing positivity and a few smiles along the way. Take care, Jennifer

They do BITE I was bitten by a garter snake. In fact Google and it says they do bite. Although the bite is harmless
@jonathanwiebe722215 күн бұрын
Did it hurt? I suppose it’s a natural reaction if it feels cornered or threatened.
@TinyBarnFarm14 күн бұрын
Oh yes, you are probably correct that they will bite if threatened. Somehow I feel comforted that they have some sort of defense if they are threatened. So many people seem to have an irrational fear of Garter Snakes. Thanks for the info! And thank you for your comment :)

Is it a corn crib?
@TinyBarnFarm24 күн бұрын
I don't think it's a corn crib... this farm used to be a dairy farm waayyyy back. In the tiny barn there were 2 small stalls with a wood floor in the back half and a dirt floor in the front half which used to have a large door used as a drive shed. I'll be putting together a full video on that little building and what was inside when we first opened it. Pretty neat!
@purplerain5524 күн бұрын
I would paint it before it starts to rot......worth keeping ....
@TinyBarnFarm24 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! We've decided to keep it raw wood... although I agree painting bit would protect it better for sure. The cladding is over 100 years old and we were able to reuse most of it when we fixed up the building a bit. It was pretty rough shape. Admittedly some of the boards were toast, especially on the south side :)

Coyote
@TinyBarnFarm3 ай бұрын
It’s possible. The only thing that makes me question is that this animal is often seen with a much larger one… I would estimate over 100lbs. Do you think the 2 species may mix? The farmers around here seem to think they’re wolves, but I’m not sure.
@lfeco3 ай бұрын
Yes, 100% sure that is a coyote. Some around here call them brush wolves, but it is a coyote.
@TinyBarnFarm3 ай бұрын
You may be correct... I've adjusted the title of the video... thanks so much for the info. What a beautiful animal @@lfeco
