Crash code 00000F 000001: MC68000 Exception - Bus error. Likely cause: The medium that was loading the System Software could not load the error handler included with the System Software. This is most likely caused by either forced removal of the medium while loading, or a corrupted medium. Remedy: Do not remove the medium until the System Software has completely finished starting up and disk activity has stopped. If the disk is corrupted, try to use Disk First Aid to repair the directory structure. Start it up using the System Software Disc that came with your Macintosh. Failing this, re-initilaize the disk and reinstall the System Software. Failing that, replace the disk.

Since it's OS 7.6 it will be 68k code running on a PPC system. I forced the failure to happen by inserting the CD drive once the happy Mac appeared, where the OS is loaded. Fantastic observation! Thanks for the comment and explanation.

I recently acquired a KV 4100, do you know exactly how to adjust Vertical/Horizontal Center? As well as pincushioning? I can't find any good description of where to look, though it seems like there are no easily adjustable pots for that stuff. I would appreciate any insight you have on the matter!

I really hope it's not the one on eBay that sold for $750. You can use the vertical sync to change the height a little and horizontal center is on the top and side board I showed in the vide

Correction, VH and VL are VHF High and VHF Low. That board is used for the digital indicator when tuning, not for actual screen geometry. My uneducated guesses are because the service manual and tuning manual are separate books and I cannot find a copy of the tuning manual anywhere.

No. It's a monochrome iPod so even if it could they look utterly terrible. The codec for jpg images (format for album covers) doesn't exist on monochrome iPods on stock OS. Rockbox is your only option for stuff like that but it's a terrible OS for iPods

You can still do this on any OS! Twine runs on just about everything, and as long as you can access your iPod as disk (Again, basically anything) you can create note games :)

@@LordofEnder1 You don't need WordPod for making note games. it was just one method of turning text files into ipod format. after the wordpod section i went into how to use twine and notepad. that method will still work today. i'm working on a python app which will turn txt files into ipod format just like wordpod, but it will be very basic if you're interested.
