Something I find very interesting, at 2:09 we see a quick flash of Lady Marianne and then Prime Minister Kururugi. Whose memories are these? At first it was Suzaku's (sort of), then Lelouch accidentally got caught up in it but instead started seeing C.C.'s memories which appear to be intermingled with Suzaku's if that torii gate and the flash of the prime minister later on is anything to go by. That or it's another shrine C.C. visited? I'm curious about that mark on her chest, too, ouch. Poor C.C., it looks like a brand maybe? Well, she did get accused of witchcraft... I wonder if she still has it, or if it somehow healed/got replaced? God, poor C.C. having to see that and be reminded every time she takes a bath or shower, assuming it's still there. And in such an intimate and private place, too... dear god, it frightens me to think what those monsters might've done to her. Even if all they did was strip her of her clothes that's still sexual assault and traumatizing! And that still of Lady Marianne, was it C.C.'s memory or Lelouch's? At first you'd be inclined to think Lelouch's since that's his mother, but considering later on where it's revealed that C.C. actually knew Lady Marianne and gave her a Geass, it's entirely possible this is C.C.'s memory instead. Anyway it makes me wonder about the Code Bearer's ability to transmit information, thoughts, and memories through touch. Is it a one-way or two way-thing? From this it appears almost two- way. Or perhaps even three-way?
