Jeez scientists have zero idea about anything except what they are told in medicine class. For sure 100% consciousness does not come from the brain one slight bit. Anyone who has had an out of body experience knows that consciousness does not stay where the brain is but travels with you. If consciousness only comes from the brain it is such a stupid naive way to think. It means that the only consciousness in the universe is just in this tiny planet earth for humans. No other realms exist and nothing at all happens when you die. In short anyone who believes just your brain provides your consciousness does not believe in God or any form of a soul or spirit. Ive considered things like remote consciousness and solipsism, but ive come to realize that we live in a reality that is layered in such a way that spartial dimensions are supported by their lower dimensions. Time is supported by the 3 spartial dimensions and if we lived in a 1 dimensional world we woulndt be able to have experienced anything, so consciousness would be pointless.

Not really buying that our concious exists beyond the scope of our bodies. We are a complex structure made of the same atoms created by suns. When the miracle of life occurred its desire was to live. Itonic. Thinking is of course required to do this. Read the Darwin Awards. Evolution marches forward. The approach to analyzing this is to put too much importance on ourselves. The motive is the same for the invention of religions since we walked out of caves. I believe the logic of the caveman stemmed from a Volcano making noise. (like animals). The distinction we should make is that when we're looking at something we're not seeing the object, but the light it didn't absorb. Everything is real. Both in and out. And everything ultimately is subjective, as it's not possible for two people to see the same photon (as it gets consumed) nor for two measuring instruments to measure the same system without affecting or changing it in some way. There's no objective perception, there's no separation, there's no chierarchism. Everything is entangled and intimately bound to everything else. It's a huge quantum soup, without any clear borders, there's no fundamental difference from the place your body ends and air begins, it's part of the same soup of existence. I believe with consciousness is the same, the fact that we don't 'feel like the rest of things' doesn't mean there's no feeling there, just like the fact that we don't feel past our body, doesn't mean there's nothing to be felt there.

Yes conscienceless extends beyond the brain. All you really need to do is bring in a psychic. Spirit shows us pictures, sensations, smells Spirit shows us where lost items are located etc. All people have the capacity to join with the Universal energy some call God.
