Hi, jeoff American English likes a breath, I mean like down until we finished our thought group however two characters are in this video, but their voices are completely different. However I read comments one of the fellow mentioned about vocal fry If I have a little vocal fry voice, it means my voice is not natural. Please let me know if this is the case. Thanks coach .

Hi, jeoff, This is a fantastic free a cent live session and I enjoyed it a lot as always. I learned a lot from you but all of the four keys to the natural sound in American English are P, Pi, B, and trying to weaken C and strengthen V sounds. I practice your breath exercises videos, pitch, and everything else, and I record my voice when I speak, such as keeping my diaphragm tense and moving lower with breath. Thanks coach.
@mirkolaini4540Күн бұрын
Hi Geof, this livestream is very interesting, thanks! Regarding placement, it’s more about the engagement of the diaphragm than lowering the pitch, right? I noticed that if I engage the diaphragm, I can lower the placement. That’s why I’m asking! Thanks in advance for your answer 👊🏼

for sure; it's never 100% one or the other. The issue is when dragging is done for every thought group. Thanks for watching!

Hi. Don't forget the vowel sound /ɛ/ which is also hard to pronounce and distinguish for non-native speakers. For instance: Sit, seat and set. Rid, read and red. Hit, heat and head. And so on. Thank you.

Not using any contractions leads listeners to think you are emphasizing those auxiliary verbs, so you cannot fully convey your message the way you want to. I believe there is a huge difference between saying "that's not true" and "that isn't true," even though what you are saying is actually the same.
