In my humble opinion, it is Mr. Knowles preference that only a certain type make it in the industry. Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Donna Sumner, and Diana Ross had massive cross over appeal and success without having light skin.

it's unfortunate that many Nigerians are not educated about what they have done to us. what Femi is talking about is SSS1 or SSS2 history. History was taken out systematically from our curriculum because that knew we will find the truth some how. So pardon the ignorance of our sister the interviewer. Though if Nigerians could seek books and documents about us there will be the liberation we crave bit for now it is a very long road.

Femi, you just mentioned the name Nigeria should be called " United States of Africa" ; because, indeed we are United. I don't think there's any country in the world or in Africa at large that holds the most amalgamated empires such as our. I stand to be corrected. Hence, I am no longer a Nigerian, I am frm US of Africa.
