Helped a friend move out of there back in ‘94 when they closed it down and moved us all to Andersen (where they built the golfcourse first, and the base around it 😆). The old housing was bad. Like, jalousy windows and first place I lived after moving out of my parents’ place bad. And that was the Officer housing. Shudder to think how crappy enlisted housing was. On a side note, when we got to guam there was a huge sign that said, “Coming soon! Kmart: Store of the Future!” 😳 Is Rotary Sushi still around? With the three different signs: Rotary Sushi, Rototory Sushi, and Rotorary Sushi? Loved that place. And Mai’s Thai next to Tower of London?

The last time I was on Guam was 1984, was just shy of 13 yo. I'm assuming y'all are stationed at Polaris Point!? Is North Tipalaio & South Tipalaio. (tip-a-lay-o) housing areas on base still being used? Is Old Appra Hieghts & New Appra Hieghts housing areas still in use as well?

Thank you for your comment about the island of Guam where i was born trust me i agree with all your comments but some of them i agree some i don't agree when it comes to driver's license the DMV in the United States they know about Guam also cost of living is high because everything is all ship not like the states we're it's all there.but just bare with it sucks but it is what it is

Thankfully we don't care for doctors. We dont really use them so if we were to ever move there its not an issue another way to save money is go stay in the philippines for a month or more at a time while your spouse works. Saves you tons of money and fresh produce.

Not everyone gets paid moved though. Not gets access to household goods move. So shipping ourselves would be more expensive then buying there wouldn't it? Also I don't think you can ship garden tools there. You can't to california

3:30 i did the same wen i moved from guam to the states. i didnt no ther was a certain amount of time to get the state license. so i finaly got it n didnt hav to take any test
