Enjoyed watching. Looks like you guys had lots of fun. Gunner and I would like to plan a trip in October. Capt. Baty said that would probably be a good time to go hang out with you. Gunner has got me into KZfaq and we have started three channels so far... I never knew that I could have fun sharing my interests with others online... However, if I had taken any clues from your channel, I would have already known that. Keep making videos brother. We can't wait to see what kind of adventures you share next time!

Big baits, ladyfish, mullet? BTW, there isn't a bay boat gunwale wide enough for me to stand on when fighting anything bigger than a pinfish.

Just broke that rod on the first small fish about a 15lb red, brought the rod back and dealer said had a few of those broken and said they don’t even offer the 8ft anymore, rod did feel weak will stick to the teramar

We’ve been using them for three years with very little issue but haven’t really caught anything less than 80lbs on one maybe the 15lb red was more than it could take! Use what you like.

Or we could treat fishing like hunting. You don't see hunters out there shooting animals then throwing them back. . I'm not anti-fishing -- I go every week. Go fishing, catch your limit, be done. Fishing injures fish, even with catch & release -- charter boats are paid to catch as many fish as possible, whether they keep them or not. It's a business model that harms the local fish population and is poor stewardship of natural resources.

Absolutely! Our old setups were 8ks with a 7ft rod we just like using the 8ft rods for casting lighter baits.

Excellent video. When I lived in St Pete I could net bait on the flats on a dead tide. Since I've moved to Apollo Beach, there isn't much grass and bait on the flats and I'm only successful on the markers during a moving tide. Other than throwing in the dark before sunrise or waiting until tidal flow is there any way to net bait in deep water on a slack tide?

Sorry to see the dam porpoises continuing their evolution into becoming the number one enemy of all anglers. First time I hear anybody call pilchards greenbacks. Threadfins are called greenies or greenbacks everywhere I,ve fished. Pilchards (scaled sardines) are called pilchards on the east coast and white bait on the gulf coast. Spanish sardines or deens have always been the best live or dead bait in my experience.
@ShinkiZer0

Same here. I call threadfins greenbacks and pilchards as white bait. I get hooked up more quality fish with spanish sardines as well. Is there a way to catch more spanish sardine?

Last 2 times I was out over in ft. Desoto with my kayak, the dolphins wouldn't leave. Had to in shallow for them to leave. Literally stuck right beside my kayak. I could pet them if I wanted that close. It almost makes me think kayakers or other people are fucking feeding them.
