I love hunting in the snow! It’s such a natural and freeing experience… I also love my 1965 99C and all of my Filson hunting gear… as you said “it’s a classic” and it just makes you want to dress the part to play the role… 😎👍

We are hoping that in 2025 we can do the Northville Lake Placid trail in the Adirondacks. We are working towards that goal slowly but surely. That will definitely test us. 134 miles maybe 13 days. Yes they were pretty slippery- Jill and I had our new Altra Lone peak hiking sneakers. They did a bit better but nothing worked on the ice.

Another great video! I have been camping at North Lake since 1986 (6 yrs old) in an old Hillary tent. The views were always amazing but you are right the trees have grown alot and are blocking alot of it. Thats nature though.

great footage! caught something I've never seen in all my mileage and time sitting in the woods, at 10:03 the phoebe lighting down on the doe's back and picking off ticks?, keds? fly pests of some sort and she acts like she is very accepting of it....kind of like the elephant/ bird relationship. Bucks begin to really prowl once November arrives.

That was great. Relaxing to watch. Trail cams have done so much for us to be able to get to enjoy the woods and it's inhabitants in their natural state. Some big bears there for sure. The yotes look like they're eating well too. Thank you much. Happy New Year.
