My patrarcial blessing doea not tell me i will come forth in tje morning of the first ressurection......i asked the patriach, he said that it means i will be her on the Earth when the Savior comes again in peraon. Im in my 60's. I feel the second coming is so very close. I feel it coming like a pressure wave of some tremendous thing that is happening now on the other side of the veil. I am not afarid of His coming, i welcome it. I am excited. But, my heart aches as i see people around me ignore the signs and wonders and keep saying all is well in Zion, yea Zion prospereth and think this 2nd coming is afar off in some distant time. It isnt! It's upon us, it's now when we must thrust in our sickle with ALL OUR MIGHT, to do missinary work and harvest souls to lay them up safely before time really runs out!

Much respect for all your research. We are certainly in the last days, but there are many things that need to be fulfilled before the Savior comes again. It’s not eminent.

I agree 100% and she was able to put into words everything I've felt about the changes to 'For the Strength of Youth'.

My issue with motherhood is the opposite of what she is describing. I am working fulltime and supporting my family and then go home at 6pm and try my best to be engaged. I ache to be home more with my kids, without the distraction and demands of my leadership job. I wonder always if I am making the wrong choice and it hurts me every single day to leave my small children at home. They are with their dad most the time, so I am grateful for that. But the natural and pure desire I have to be with them, but financially we have made other choices in our family makes me feel very sad and discouraged that I am missing the very sacred calling of motherhood. Other moms who work that I know seem to want to work and like the break. I can not relate to that feeling and wish I could be in two places at once. Being a mom is the most noble and rewarding calling and I agree with Sherri Dew’s quote about motherhood and satans attack on motherhood and it makes me again wonder if I am doing enough.

I’m so happy to see more people standing up for this MOST valuable role! Motherhood/Fatherhood is more important than any other position we could hold. We are developing and teaching God’s children. What could be more important? As a “stay-at-home mom” I always felt devalued…especially raising my children in the Washington DC culture where if you weren’t “somebody” you were “nobody”. I’m so happy I clung to my principles and continued on the unpopular path of nurturing and teaching our children. They are all functioning adults, happily married and raising children of their own. And…my husband’s and my decision for me to be home with them (I believe) is a big contributing factor to their success.

When I was a primary teacher, instead of bringing treats on fast Sunday, I brought stickers. The kids learned that we didn’t eat treats on fast Sunday and they looked forward to getting the stickers instead.

i do have a son who was a good son and then down the road he came out as gay in his middle 30's. later he married so he could be with only one person. he went on a mission to england. i knew when he was sent there later that God knew my son because england was the right place to send him. he was young then and hadnt come out. im sure he was upset and didnt know what to do and didnt like the idea that he had to deal with this. he has been to the temple and was good all his life. he was obedient. we love him very much. he is the youngest of the other 4 kids. they knew that he was different since he was a little kid. i have learned since that people like this...isnt a choice. this is in their dna or gene's. and also since then, we have learned that there are other people in my family that are gay. so, now i wonder and i pray the LORD REVEILS TO US ABOUT THESE THINGS. i believe that this is a DISORDER IN THE BODY AND BRAIN. Im also praying about people who have cancer and other illnesses that the Lord reveils how to help them as well. May God have mercy on all who are suffering because these times are short as we wait for the Saviors return.

I asked my seminary students “why do you think we can have so much faith in God? They were silent - and then we discussed Him being unchanging and merciful. But the thing that we ended on was God being a Safe pillar of Integrity. He keeps His word. He loves and stands solid and invites us to come to Him anytime. Thats why we can have so much faith in Him. He is modeling successful parenting!

More and more Jews are accepting that Christ came and that He will come again. We may not know the day or hour but He never said we will not know the month or the year His coming is matching the Hebrew calendar and the LDS Church calendar

Because of my stewardship to prepare one of my progeny for his foreordained mission, I know that Revelation 8:8-9 occurs in 2057 and Revelation 8:5 occurs in the 2030s. Joseph Smith said of the latter, "they will call it a comet." In fact, it is the first great open sign from God to the world that the time is upon us... even at the door.

Soon after I returned from a mission, I went to a fireside at the BYU Marriott center. One of the first presidency was speaking. In his closing remarks (When most everyone else was not paying attention), he said, "The rising generation will be the ones to greet the Savior. Even some of YOU will see that day. " The rising generation would be our children and grandchildren. I am now in my early 60s.

Matthew 22:28 Jesus says, " At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like angels in heaven". Our existence in heaven will be different from what we are used to here and now. There will be no need for sex in heaven, our marriage relationship will be with Christ, we will focus on Him. Jesus is the groom, and His believers are the bride, it is a relationship with Christ, this is in the scriptures. According to the bible your doctrine is not biblical.

I so enjoyed listening to your testimony. I have been a member since I was 8. I share the same birthday as President Nelson, which is pretty cool. However I have been on the fence and off the fence with the church. I have an unbreakable faith with Jesus Christ and I love him so. What is wrong with me? It’s torment. I know the gospel is true I just cannot commit 150% and I have never been able to figure out why and I am still searching.

Just some perspective from somebody who hasn’t “harnessed the natural man.” I would argue that none of us are celestial beings while here on earth. There were a few times during this video when it was discussed that we wouldn’t be in the celestial realm typically until later in life. This may serve to make a lot of people nervous about their ability or some requirement to reach that level here. I have struggled w addiction my whole life. So harnessing the natural man is a tall order and something I work on everyday with varying levels of success. I think this life if about progress. Not perfection. And since we all start at different places and have much different weaknesses and strengths, it’s tough to put our level of success on a chart. I think we should focus more on working really hard every day, being prayerful, humble, and asking our loving and merciful Heavenly Father to help us to reach our potential, which is something only He knows. As always, I could be wrong and I’m sure at the very least I’m missing some things. But these are my thoughts.

Since we believe we are the only true Church, then the parable of the five wise and five unwise virgins must be talking about endtime LDS members. If half were not ready and were shut out of the wedding how much more serious of a warning could there be? Also, the return cannot happen until first there is a great falling away, which again must be LDS members, so if we see many people forsaking the Savior and the Church, it means things are going according to prophecy.

We are talking about how we can prepare ourselves, but how do we "prepare" the outside world, most of whom do not follow Christ etc? I can't see how we can prepare the world any different than Noah prepared the world by warning them destruction was coming. But that world did not listen, and only the faithful remnant were saved in the ark. At some point, those alive on the earth who are found worthy will be taken up into the clouds to be with the Lord at His coming, and the rest of the world will go through the great tribulation, accept the system and mark of the beast etc.

What about children with special needs? Children who just don’t understand sometimes or don’t have the inability to listen? Will they also be tested with their self-control and appetite? When my two older children who are on the spectrum have their needs whether it’s hunger or sensory at church, and I give them what they need to avoid meltdowns, then the two younger children might want something too, so I’m not able to be fair with all four of my children and unfortunately, my kids don’t have much self-control. We’ve done play therapy, ABA therapy, they’re currently on medication’s. I have helped them with impulsive behavior, but it’s still a struggle. Where is there a place for these children? They are verbal and they have intelligence, but are very very stubborn and just don’t get it sometimes. My son is eight, he is not baptized yet, because a lot of his behavioral issues where he doesn’t understand accountability. We are holding off on that. And then my six-year-old is also autistic. Both of them are medium and high functioning, but they are stubborn and extremely extroverted and they don’t get boundaries. They talk to strangers they touch people when churches over, they run around and it’s chaotic. So my husband and I feel like we don’t have control of our two older children. And then our four year-old copies off of them. She’s typical, but she’s extremely outgoing and sometimes inappropriate. She took Primary eyeglasses off her face and threw it across the room. I gave it back to the Primary president and she did it three times in a row. It was very embarrassing for me. I end up looking like a parent who doesn’t know how to raise my kids. My three older children really don’t have much self-control. reward systems have not always worked. If one child gets rewarded, the other two will have complete meltdowns and they’ve even scratch their own faces and pull their hair out. This is my two autistic. Children will react this way so it just doesn’t work. We’re basically stuck and my husband and I feel like we have the most difficult kids.a lot of people who have met my children and have babysat. My kids feel the same way. My mother who has 13 grandkids has never seen anything like it. So we feel like our children are our Abraham challenge.

You noted Satan " goes for the gold" and offers a counterfeit celestial behavior. And that same principle makes me see even more clearly why it is, then, that Satan most desires to sit in the temple of God, proclaiming he is God, and must be worshiped, as per Bookf of Daniel. He seeks to enforce a theocratic celestial government, with him as Christ instead of the Savior. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
