It is actually a public road with small land holdings. I’m from another state but have driven around it a few times. Speed limit 60k or 35MPH.and even that you need to slow on some bends.

When Allan Moffat first went to Bathurst in the 1960s he was with some ford personnel they stopped at the top of skyline looking out to the view towards Bathurst city Moffat said to the Ford personnel shouldn't we be getting to the race track and the response to Moffat was you are on the race track and this is the highest point in Moffats own words he took one more look and never looked at that view again when racing.

Hey OO... Long time Beth Hart fan here who follows her closely...I'm a senior from Canada and my childhood history mirrors a lot of Beth's life even though I am old enough to be her mama. Beth comes from a family with 1 dysfunctional narcissistic parent, an empath parent and 3 or 4 siblings. Her father was a high living gambling man who lost the family home in a poker game and left her mom for his secretary. I believe the mom was strong and supportive but a bit overwhelmed by it all. I do know that an older sister has passed, possibly drug related. Beth too has a history with booze, soft drugs and class A drugs. Her personality through these times was manic. Through all of this, Beth became a classically trained musician who plays piano, bass, percussion and other instruments. Beth has an incredible savant-like song writing talent which is a combination of her poetry and classical training. I've followed other musicians who talk about how Beth inserts known classical chord structures in to her music. After the discovery of her talent on Star Search back in the 90s/00s at a young age of 17 or 18, she was catapulted in to the main stream music machine which chewed her up. After many falls, jail cells and rehabs, Beth has finally broke through the drugs enough to get a grip on her life. A late in life diagnosis of bipolar disease and the meeting of Scotty, her husband of now 20+ years, along with the support of her long time friend/mgr and guitar player, sent Beth's life on a new trajectory. Beth is really doing quite well now. She spends at least half the year in Europe (the only place she could get bookings during the struggles)... her following there is huge. There are many European full concert videos on YT... check them out. The other part of the year they are home in California and touring the US. Beth will only play small venues and the travelling is planned so that Beth can keep the stress levels down and stay in control of her life. Her daily meds routine for the bipolar condition can affect other areas of her health so Scotty keeps her on track and they work very well as a team. I absolutely love this girl... every single day there will be BH music playing in my home at some point. I watched your face as she sang... she touched something in you too. Hugs and peace to all.

Thanks Ms.Jackster88. I certainly can relate. I was raised in serious dysfunctional childhood and struggled as a young man with booze and drugs. I love her. Intense and emotion. I well try to find some time to look into other material. I appreciate your taking the time. Well said and well spoken. I hope you are well yourself. Howdy from Missouri. OO

Vika and Linda are still touring in Australia. And are both awesome singers with a gospel/blues vibe. The best vocal voice in Australia is Vanessa Amorosi. She can sing anything and has a vocal range from C3 to F6. All reaction channels and voice coaches on KZfaq state she’s one of or the best female singer in the world. She’s unfortunately not been noticed or recognised by mainstream. You need to hear her live performances. All the best from Melbourne Australia

I have listened to a lot of singers but no other voice touches me as Floor's does. She is an empath and able to make you feel the emotions in her songs very deeply. Together with her fantastic voice (she can sing all from opera to death metal growls, even a Dutch telephone book, lol) and stage presence as well as her kind and humble personality she has become my favourite singer. To watch some of her vocal facets watch Beste Zangers 2019. Here she sings in English, Dutch, German and Spanish. Beste Zangers is not a competition but a show where singers sing for each other. Start with "Vilja Lied" (sung in German, from the operetta "The merry widow" by Franz Lehar) - this was the first song she sang there (for her teenage idol Henk Poort, in the Netherlands a well-known opera and musical singer).

The flaming bull's head is the symbol of Wacken Open Air. Wacken is a village (about 2000 inhabitants) in Northern Germany, with a lot of cattle (therefore the bull). For four days a year more than 80.000 people (sometimes about 90.000) come to this village and its worldwide famous metal festival and they come from all over the planet (by the way, also the bands performing there).

Yep. As a racing driver, you definàtely should take a rental for a few laps of Mount Panorama at 60kmph. You'll need to keep left rather than on a racing line, but it's still great for feeling it's reality.

Out of all the American bike racers past and present only one has ever won the TT. Dave Roper is currently the only American to win a TT Race using conventional internal combustion engine power; the Historic TT of 1984. Riding a G50 Matchless he headed home the field in the only time this class of race has been run. Dave has also finished runner-up twice in the Senior Classic Manx Grand Prix, in 1988 and 1990. As for the circuit, it is 37.730 miles, and the really quick guys can do it in under 18 minutes, and they do 6 laps for their time. As for fuel, the TT racers use VP Racing fuel, it is an American company founded in Texas.

To him this was what he called "a no risk lap". He was taking the most out of the turns. Comparing these turns to full speed turns is incredible. This lap average was 119 mph compared to his highest of 136 mph average. He says the wheelies were just for fun.

As a Glen Seton fan boy back in the day I was there on the mountain that year and was shattered as my Holden counterparts mocking me for the loss. It was a memorable race either way you look at it. But Glen deserved a win with the career he had.

The Bathurst 1000 will take 6 hours plus to complete, and the drivers have to complete 161 laps of the circuit; such is the sheer distance, that each has two driver who change several times during the race. This is on of the only races, that is part of the Supercars Championship Series, that two drivers are used; at all other times, there is only one driver to each car. Drivers can lose kgs in weight during this race, so they have to remember to hydrate during their breaks; it taxes you, both mentally and physically.

Awesome track, driven it 20+ times. You need to drive it to believe it. They hit 200kpm across the top... 60 was enough for me. To add to that, the Bathurst 1000 used to be mixed class racing. While not being used for racing, there is a 60kph speed limit around the track {to stop idiots like me killing ourselves ...). I set my cruise control on 60 but could only pull 35 going up the cutting . Fun fact: Murray"s Corner was the fastest 90deg corner in the world before they put in the chase to pull the speeds down. Imagine having 80s group C cars on this before the chase went in... they would have smashed 400 before take-off...
