Another great review Gareth. I have Iris and you are right about the card, the down side of the card is that if people hold is in the wrong way you cant see what you need to, this has only happened twice to me so far out of over a hundred performances but it is something to be aware of.

I got these from e-mentalism a while ago. Unfortunately i cant access them any more. I know other people have had similar problems with their purchases disappearing from the library. There is absolutely no customer service. They are cheap but be careful is my advice. Download everything if possible.

If you contact [email protected] they will sort out your account and update it. This has already been done for many customers in the last 3 weeks.

A great video Gareth. I love working with bulletproof effects so I don't like electronic stuff because if something can go wrong it will at some point and usually at the very worst point. Give me a double ended Sharpie and a stack of billets and a few envelopes and perhaps a few index cards and I will be happy. Ok I admit it is a little easier with an Orphic+ or a shadow wallet but without them I will still be able to perform.

Great video. In addition to playing cards, a lot of the chain drugstores sell small games that use cards but not playing cards. With a little thought, you can make an alphabetized stack with them and have a card effect around trivia, personality tests, etc.

I think the thing of most value, to me, would be Lewis Le Val’s tips on revealing information and the like. This isn’t to knock the method at all, I have not yet purchased and don’t know it. I just think that it’s the story telling and presentation aspects that really cause Mr. Le Val to shine.

If you use one of those space pens or a mini Sharpie then it's fine, however apart from that it's pretty good and designed for the job in hand.

Would appreciate the odd pop in just to share opinion on stuff you’re working with. Not full review but discussion. There is not a lot of quality mentalism videos. People tend to heavily hoard their performances to avoid reveal and copycats. Sleight of hand stuff on the other hand is easy to show off with and if good tough to steal.

Great review but I agree 100% Gareth spectators are not stupid they fully understand that software on a phone can easily be manipulated in one way or another. I believe there is far too much app and phone mentalism but that’s just my opinion. I do love your reviews though 👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀
@mentalistonashoestring3 ай бұрын
I have no problem with mentalists and magicians who do use apps, in this day and age it can be entertaining but for me, I love the old school and low tech methods. If it works for you than carry on, but I would also make sure you have backup methods as internet, battery and signal can cause a problem. However, pens that run out of ink, or cards that wet wont work either LOL
