I'm doing hard bag conversion and quick detach backrest on Heritage. You got a video for that? Or maybe some tips?

Could possibly be the worst tutorial on anything... First , they don't know which side each sudeplate goes on, then they don't know they have to put the screws in the bar before they mount the brackets... Total idiots
@Jameswest16872 жыл бұрын
I know this video is old but it looks like you had a SAE 12-point socket I could be wrong about that but I do know those are 12-point metric bolts for the brakes for future reference like the raw content you guys are creating doing a great job
@rigsngears57272 жыл бұрын
Thank you we appreciate it very much. We literally tried everything we could to get those off and it’s been multiple bikes we’ve had to cut the same bolts but we’re definitely going to invest in some better and or correct tools so we don’t have to use last resort processes
@tonyparson43922 жыл бұрын
Please tell me you were using a 12 point 10mm on the front calipers?
@rigsngears57272 жыл бұрын
Yes we used a 12 point, even bought some inverted torx sockets but nothing worked. We’ve had to do the same on other bikes as well. People don’t seem to know how to use anti seize

Just wondering if you still plan on doing a video on installing the resistors for the led turn signals? I am trying to figure how to do mine, just not that good with electrical.
@rigsngears57272 жыл бұрын
We’re probably not because we like the way it speeds up after the first 3 flashs, but there are other videos here on other channels that explain how to do it with the same resisters

Hey guys. Greetings from Florida. I just got done watching all 6 episodes. Really enjoying the content. I do have one question that is kind of unrelated, I was wondering if that is the lift from harbor freight and if so how do you like it? Thanks
@rigsngears57273 жыл бұрын
We appreciate you watching thank you! Yes it is the lift from harbor freight, it works great for us. I’m happy with it, but if you have anything to much heavier than a street glide or road glide it won’t be able to lift it up so just keep that in mind. Again thank you for watching we hope to keep you entertained in future videos!

How much for the rake kit? Where did you buy it?
@rigsngears57273 жыл бұрын
It’s an American suspension rake kit, I got it on sale during Black Friday from xbscustoms.com. I worked with Brian S on a stack of parts. But you can also get the rake kit straight from American Suspension it’s like $1600 I believe
