Hi brother how are you doing? I was wondering if you could tell me where you bought your real bone tuning pegs for your guitars, I'd like to buy some for mine too! Thanks for any response!! A hug from Italy!

A really excellent band with a rotating cast. They seem to attract excellent musicians but there must be some issue there.

All three are regular cannons! Although each one has it's own unique nuances. And those vintage style double guards are great! I'm pretty old, and I had the pleasure of knowing a lot of the old "Old Timers" that "were there" in the early to mid Fifties, when those crazy double pick guards were the in thing. Some of them were put on those guitars to cover up wear and/or damage, but a lot of them were just installed for the added "bling" factor. Any of those folks would have told you that those guards DIDN'T alter the sound of the instrument too much. I've currently got a custom Rosewood Jumbo/spruce top and I have double pickguards on it. People say that it's the loudest, deepest sounding acoustic guitar they've ever heard. I suppose that if I steamed those guards off of it, it might make folk's heads explode!😂 Cheers! You're sounding great as always.

What mic(s) are you running on the fiddle, and mandolin/banjo? I don't know how much acoustic sound the camera is picking up in addition to the mic sound, but I don't hear any real coloring of the banjo sound.

No doubt about it, this banjo was dear to Sonny. I'd like to know why he gave up phenomenal banjo and secondly, what banjo did he replace it with? Thanks. Really interesting info here.

I sang together with and older friend who had fought in the Battle of the Bulge and came home teach high school German. Our. Chorus sings old songs in German. My friend was in a home and remembered almost nothing! Then I decided to to sing “so ein Tag”.,.”such a day”- a beautiful song that end with a phrase in Deutsch that we never know when we will meet again. Bob lit up and joined me word for word! I told his Daughter that I would gather some of our singer to the folks at the home with Bob. Then came the Covid and our second visit was impossible. It was almost two years before we could have a concert at Teutonia Männerchor honoring Bob and others who passed. And yes we sang So Ein Tag!
