A lot of people seem to have looked in to this video. (Sorry, it's just a no commentary grinder due to my dead voice) But you know what? I think some people here might enjoy JoJo, since I put DIO in to the thumbnail... In-game the music does quiet down when in the back alleys, and speaking to some characters has their own themes, but there's no different versions like that in the sound files! Extended alleyways could have been a cool idea though.

Remember, this god teir music is accompanied by so many people telling Mario how depressed they all are. Here's an example: Bomb-omb: "Not that you care, but I gave up all my life's dreams. Now I just stare at the sea. I walk around... alone. I wait for a ship that never returns. Life stinks, you know that?"

Not gonna lie, Nintendo missed out on naming the thinking version "Thinkin' of a Whackin' " instead of just adding (Think) to the end of the track name like they did with the rest of the battle themes in the remake.

First off, sorry for the long comment. Finally finished watching this part. Haven't started part 3 yet. But I wanted to point out a couple of invaluable resources you have that you are under-utilising. 1) The pause menu map is extremely useful for hunting down specific objectives that are otherwise near-impossible to find on most maps. In addition, it displays certain items that can be found on the map, such as the Stone Mask in Inlaid Library. 2) You misread the description on the grimoire that lists evolutions. With a couple of exceptions, it only shows you DISCOVERED evos, allowing you to keep track of which items you might still need to try. The exception is that, when you unlock it, it already has the combinations for the Whip, Magic Wand, Knife, and Axe (3 of which you've figured out already). The other exception is that it shows that Peachone and Ebony Wings can be combined, which you just found out anyways. As far as evolutions go, not every weapon evolves, but every weapon that you have access to so far does, and every passive item you have found is part of an evo as well. However, you are missing pieces for many of them. I am enjoying your journey into VS quite a bit, though. I discovered it late myself, and there aren't a lot of people who started video series with their very first run.

I later realised those mistakes too! I just finished a 31-minute run in the Gallo Tower, which was also the last 31-minute map to do (for now) so my gameplay has definitely evolved from these earlier parts! Thanks for correcting past-Me though. But now that you're moving in to Session 3, I'm so sad to say that due to my voice dying and stress piling up from third party sources, the rest of the series has been almost completely no commentary. Luckily for me this has been the perfect game to grind out, but unlucky for you viewers, my addiction to this game made me do A LOT of no commentary sessions. Still, it's been a lot of fun. I'll try to save my voice for couple end game(?) sessions. There's couple characters, maps and modes I've been saving for that as well!

The song you recognized in Il Molise is called Funiculi, Funicula. It's a late classical piece originating from 1800's Italy. Like many classical pieces, it has been remixed, covered, and adapted numerous times.

This is a really good mix and it does perfect justice to one of the richest set of songs in the whole game. Seriously all of Chapter 4 along with the rest of the game is pure EAR candy. But all of Crump new songs are just the icing on the cake

If I counted right, this fight took me only *seven* turns! (Without Power Bounce/Multibonk) Pretty good! Another very fun addition to the remake! I can't wait to see what els- - - *It's over?!* Well. I guess my job here is done for now. But I still got some things to do regarding these battle mixes. I noticed an audio glitch in the Three Shadows video (third time's the charm huh) and later on I'd like to put together the Full Shadow Queen mix with proper video-visuals. And not only those, I would want to have a playlist of the area medleys/mixes, too! But for those I'll mostly use just static images and short clips. Making them should be fun. So! While the battle music is nearly done, we still got more tunes to tune in on! 🎶

Out of all the Crump themes, which one is your favorite? For me, I enjoy the Marine battle theme the most. It just encapulates Crump as a whole perfectly while being appropriate for the high-sea setting. This one is a close second, though. It is extremely fun and catchy.

I can't help but enjoy the first theme the most, probably due to the mix between classical instruments and electronic sounds. The bombastic drums also hit straight to the core in that one. But honestly, they're all great! The mix of different instruments and styles in the remade soundtrack is so good.
