It is unbelievable how bad this is on some US cities. Here in Brazil, drivers (which btw are mostly uneducated) complain about Uber pay all the time. Of course we're not earning USD, but just numerically speaking many of our costs are similar. R$1500 (Brazilian reais) apartment is similar to a 1500 USD apartment That being said 13 Brazilian reais for a 40 minute trip as seen in 0:17 would be absolutely crazy, especially on Comfort. We would probably be getting something around 30 or even 40 Brazilian reais. Our costs with gas and the car itself are WAY higher, but still... That kind of garbage DOES not happen even in shithole Brazil.

That's crazy, you're in a surge but the rides are crap. I don't do shared rides either.

Uber once charged me on my card for a ride that was requested two years ago which was paid cash, they refused to refund my money.

I live in a mid size city in Illinois. About 100,000 population. My area is saturated with drivers, in my opinion, however, after watching your video my market isn't so bad. Like someone else has pointed out., that $45 would be in the $80s plus a tip. I guess your market is more saturated than mine. Im glad you showed this because it put things in perspective for me. I dont get to see there destination in my area, however, the works like this. If i get a high paying trip the next one will be a lower paying trip. Then a medium and back to a larger one. If its two small one in a row then it has slowed down and I can clock out.

And now that summer is starting you’ll see all the professors and college students flood the market and it will get slower and the fares will go lower too

The other thing is that they will make you believe that the ride is gone, to make you react by just picking anything that comes up next. Then that ride that is no longer available is available to other drivers and sometimes they pop it back up to you. They are disgustingly manipulative.

My Friend I’m a Uber Driver in NJ it’s getting worse and worse.

Now they inserted a ‘$55 for 70 rides’ challenge lol! I don’t think that’s a challenge for us, that’s a challenge for UBER and LYFT. I’m lucky if I get 50 good rides a week.

If we were allowed by the government to fly UFOS, UAPS them i would give humans free rides for the rest of my life.

The fares are low because the pay/miles are low but the time to pickup and drop-off are not worth it. The time/pay per minute is what the real problem is. It's too low. It's traffic hour and they should pay way more.

Is that an app where it shows you the info at the top of the screen when a request comes in? Where it shows the per hour, per mile and the actual address or business.

I've been getting NAG screens about taking a detour or stopping for too long on the way to pick up a passenger. If you stop for too long or if you take an altinate route it will trigger a warning NAG screen. They're trying to control how we drive now. 🖕

WOW! One was $7.35 and the other was $5.37 for the SAME RIDE! I been telling folks on my channel that Lyft is adjusting fares and service fees. Same with Uber. That's why they leave no audit for contractors! They're skimming fares.

They need to pay us more. We do allll the hard work and mileage , tires, maintenance,deal with customers, cleaning car and seats more than 3 times , a week and they take half or sometime a little more than half just to conect us? I think a 30% it’s ok but not 50%+… not fair
