I attended RMA From 1981 to 1985 when I graduated. I spent a lot of time on bullring so I got to know Sergeant Beauchamp really well. He was a first class man. When he had his mind made up about something he was intractable. Don’t even bother trying to change his mind because it’s not going to happen. My life has been so greatly affected in such a positive way by having so much time under his watch. Thank you Sergeant Beauchamp Childs A.B.

Good, tough man. And funny. I know he cared about us. And for a TAC officer, who focused on the barracks life, I remember his encouragements one on one. Ty.

Thank you RMA for posting this video. I had the pleasure to know Sgt. Beauchamp when I attended Riverside from 1981-1986. There were some periods of time when he would ride my butt like no other (especially on Bullring), which would frustrate me to no end. Later in life, I appreciate the things he had "learned" me. RIP Sgt. Beauchamp, you will be missed more than you will ever know.

I'm a very proud alumni of RMA class of 91. I knew sarge and respected him a lot. He will be missed. I hope a lot if my brothers will join me at founders day and we will lift a drink to sarge!!
