I see watches in USA are lot cheaper compared to Europe. For example this HC in video at moment cost 1500 euros, new model is 1950 euros. Regular people in USA can afford omega or Rolex and here in Europe only very rich people wear them.

None of the measurments are more than 1 mm different than the originals, while moving the date to 6 o"clock and giving it that ripple dial make it stand apart from the original Seiko and the various other homages.

Why that title?? Chrono24 is a great resource for purchasing watches. They escrow the funds and verify ownership but do not guarantee authenticity. eBay does as watch first ships to their Authenticator. They verify listing and open up the watch for Authenticity of the movement etc. By the way, just because there is box and paper, it does not mean watch is authentic with all original parts.

Is joma a scam? In my opinion the answer is both yes and no. You will probably ( but not always ) get the watch you ordered. It may or may not be new. Where it gets scammy is the promised customer service and joma warranty, both which have a reputation for being useless.

I got the melville and its operating at +1 to -1 sec a day. My grand seiko after warranty service for a misaligned balance wheel came back running +10 to 13 sec a day and they keep telling me our standard is +8 to -1 sec a day. I am like wtf it doesnt even meet your own standard and they wanted me to pay over $100 to ship it back again when its their fault. The boutique in beverly hills said its a mechanical watch so its normal. No more GS or Seikos for me. I switched to Islander as the specs are better and quality is better than a seiko at a cheaper price and is more accurate than my $7,000 grand seiko sbgh295.

I won't buy from anyplace that say stuhrling originals are excellent luxury watches, so no jomashop for me.
