It should work on that model, make sure you are using a working keyboard. Otherwise try connecting a usb keyboard and then try again. The password keys are case sensitive.

Hi, Not sure about that, it works on only a few models. Trial and error, and make sure you enter the password codes exactly as shown, all letters are in lower case!

@@phtveditionofficialytbsodit was too slow for this machine unfortunately. It also only had 1GB Ram so maybe it would have worked with 2GB minimum. This was an old laptop ideal for retro gaming and old software

i have a vgn ar350e from 2006 with this startup sound but it wont boot anymore due to the gpu being half dead, sadly its almost impossible to find one of those exact laptops online so im not sure if i am going to be able to repair it

Repairing the gpu can be done by reflowing the gpu chip. But this is only a temporary fix. Unless you want to remove the chip and reball and reflow for longer lasting repair. These older gen Vaio laptops are hard to come by these days. The boot up animation on the older laptops is something lacking on current laptops unfortunately.

I remember the first ROG motherboards (the ones with the logo that looked similar to the Gamecube logo) had startup animations as well, albeit not as exciting.

Sadly they removed the animated boot screens ages ago on most laptops. Only the ROG laptops have something animated during power on. But that may end also?

I remember That boot logo animation had an asus laptop running Celeron M to Core 2 duo but it was removed from the 1st generation core i3 chip
