I have one on my XJ and it does absolutely nothing! The only thing they do is lean out the fuel mixture, so they probably work better on some cars than others,

Would have cost nothing to cut your factory Springs and it would ride better also

I've had ebay stainless headers on several vehicles and they usually take a bit of tinkering like bolt hole alignment or belt sanding the flange flatter but once mounted I've had no issues after years of use.

Then you need custom headers picky ass

Personally I've been extremely impressed with the headers I got on eBay. They're pacesetter knock offs, but they are built much better, and they came in stainless steel which the pacesetters did not for my application. The flanges were thick and straight.

I think one thing you might have benifitted from was higher shift points. But the A4LD is vacuum shifted so the chip cant change those

I purchased a new set of stainless steel headers on eBay for my 88 Chevy Silverado and to be honest they fit and work great, to be honest even expensive headers can be a pain to install trust me I've been installing headers on my vehicles for almost 20 years now. Sometimes you gotta get a little creative and it works out.

I have a jet stage 2 chip with header intake thermostat 93 octane on my 99 sonoma 2.2 L4 and it makes a huge difference in efficiency and power the chip cleans it up well so all i have to say is application plus stage 1 is not worth it anyways

So. When they hit or are to far.. there is this thing called heads with angle plugs or not angle plugs. They aren't crappy. They are the wrong ones . And everything is made in China ..
