WHY SEND IN YOUR VIDEO?

Neurofibromatosis, or NF, occurs in 1 of every 3,000 people, affecting more than
2.5 million people around the world. So why don’t more people know about it?
Because there is no one way to define NF. Just like there is no one way to define a
person living with NF.

Many times NF is visible. Many times NF is invisible. We want the world to understand that seeing NF is also seeing the person living with it.

What is it

It's a genetic condition which is caused by the absence of a NF gene ,and people with it have non cancerous tumors that can grow on nerves or on skin.These do have have a chance of becoming cancerous so people with nf are recommended to go see a specialist and a eye doctor every year.Also people with nf have cafe-lo-la spots(Idk if I spelled that right) these spots can range in size and are a baige color.
