Funny story about him: about a month after my parents started dating my mom was working as a waitress at a restaurant in DC. One day when my dad was visiting her at the bar, a giant man walked in and asked my mom out on a date in front of my dad. She obviously rejected, but was later told by my dad that that man was Manute Bol.

Why do you think was that and only reason his career 3 pt % is ok at best is because league mooved the line for him
@cordelljohnson1060
@cordelljohnson1060 Ай бұрын
@@smite4032 Really? Is that what you believe? the They only changed the 3 point line for 3 seasons in the 90's. the first season(94-95) Jordan was retired.. then for two seasons he shot 40% (3.4 attempts per game) but whole league's 3 point shooting went up too.. the 97-98 season, the year they changed it back, it went down to 24% (1.5 attempts) the majority of Jordan's shots were midrange. Pretty much his whole career. 3 years brah in which he was eligible for use for only 2.

@smite4032 Jordan only had the benefit of using the reduced 3 point line for one and a 1/2 seasons. So I don't understand your argument. One season out of 14 isn't going to change his career percentage. And "everybody" had the same advantage He had, if that's what you want to call it. You wanna go and say that the 90s generation wasn't as good as it is now? Yeah, it's called evolution. The game has changed into a 3 point shooting contest. Even more so than just running, offensive plays a lot of isolation. And now defenses can play zone, which they didn't do back in the 80s. Or 90s. You had to straight up, guard your man?
