Back in San Diego, been stationed in Japan. Disco had infected some, being young and neive. Thank God for Alvin Lee & Ten Years Later! Proof that disco sucks!!

Quiero agregar que a esta banda no se le ha dado el reconocimiento que merece. Por otro lado y sin lugar a dudas que su líder es uno de los mejores guitarristas de todos los tiempos..

This was in 1968. I was standing next to Bill Graham during part of the set and got Alvin's empty bottle of Ripple as he walked onstage. Ike and Tina were also on the bill, as was The Flock, Grootna, and the Fourth Way.

What a tremendous Band they were in the early years. I had the privilege of seeing them four times in my teen years and enjoyed them like no other band I ever saw . Too watch Alvin Lee stand on the stage and play that beautiful red 335 was a thrill beyond description. Words just can't explain the experience. Besides Johnny Winter , Alvin Lee remains my favorite Blues Guitar player , not too mention the Band it self Ten Years After. Their in my top 5 favorite Rock Bands of all time. I miss hearing his voice and his guitar playing. Alvin Lee rest in peace my friend 🧡

Not offending either Leo Lyons or Ginger Rogers fanatics, but I see a similarity between Lyons and Rogers. Lyons ferocious playing with his fingers, without a pick, (seems at least to me) like Rogers dancing backwards in high heels with Fred Astair. Probably wrong, but no doubt a maniacally precise bassist. Fun.

TYA's set at Woodstock was beyond electric...it was otherworldly. Alvin is far too often overlooked in best of lists.

I saw them with BTO. TYA were the worm up band. It was at the cow palace in San Francisco. BTO ain't seen nothing yet was applicable to ten years after kicking ass. Leo Lynn Was the baddest Bass player.

I seen ten years after, back in 71 at the mlps auditorium . By the time they got to this song the smoke was so thick, you didn't have to roll one. What times they were.
