I bought this album with my first ever pay packet in 1971 and still had i until 3 years ago when I gave it to a friend as I was emigrating. I listened to this album so many times that I knew it off by heart but this was always my favourite track on it.

My whole life influenced by this wonderful artist. My first word was FASCINATION. Influenced to remain open minded. And artists and music so important. My parents loved him.

Kudos to George Terry for helping Eric this year , Clapton sure needed some with the state he was in. Saw them play at The Capitol Center in MD. & George did most all the guitar work as Eric was still sick from booze & dope. We are lucky as hell Eric is still with us & kicked his habits . Great album for the shape he was still in.
My grandmother just died about 2 weeks ago, my grandfather died a few years ago, whenever I was a little girl, he would sing this song today, I didn’t remember this song until I watched the video of me coming to my grandparents’ house when I was only 6 years old, he would hug me and sing this whole song. This brings back the best of memories, I love it so much, is very heartwarming:

Been well over a decade since I last heard this song. Sticky Fingers is one of the best albums of all time. Just rediscovered this cut and cannot stop listening to it. An ode to the long-gone bluesy days on the road for Mick and the boys.

Terry Kath had big ears. This guitar solo is right in there with any of the free jazz players. The entire band of Chicago were in fearless pursuit of the muse imo. I miss these guys dearly and Kath in particular.

I love Coltrane, but for me it’s Tyner that makes this version. From the very first chord his voicings really take the tune to another place for a soloist to explore. Try playing what Coltrane does over more conventional voicings and it just doesnt work.
