The black reel strips were called Lightening and the white strip were called Jillions. The lightening reel strips came with a black fluorescent tube over the reels and were always replaced with a standard fluorescent tube. With the black tube installed, the symbols glow like you wouldn’t believe. That’s why the colors look like they do.

I hate when any ole’ glass is put in a slot machine to make people think the machine came from a particular casino. The Gold Coast opened in 1988 and never had Bally EM machines. The casino was almost exclusively stocked with IGT S+ and PE machines.

There were a few of these in Ireland l remember one time someone got the 3 horseshoes ..they. scooped up the 20coins and walked away. I played the 10spins and hit the mustang 7 times .. 20 5P coins each time ...7 pounds ....

Sweden in a nutshell. To be honest there is so much wrong with Sweden, the goverment have Always been a big brother for the citizens and personally I found my country Sweden to be a shithole country in so many cases. The gun laws is also totally ridiculous. If something is fun it is forbidden. Somehow the politicians in sweden thinks that the population must be safe and feel secure 24/7 and it has gone way to far the last 50 years. What it has led to is that you feel dead in your soul and there is not much to live or strive for.

Hallo, Anybody with a Golden Gate (model 1133) who can help me? The belly glass on my golden gate is a printed paper between 2 glasses. Tried to find a original belly glass without success. The printed paper I have has started to fade with time and the colors are bad. So I was thinking if someone with a golden gate could send me a high resolution picture taken straight ahead (not from above) of their glass taken with good light. Then I can print it and replace the paper I have today. Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like the same game as Circus but with a different theme. It looks amazing!

Art is very similar to the Bally Flicker pinball from around the same time.

The reason all bally slots after 1973 only pays 20 coins was because of a stupid law that came 1973. According to that law slots was only admitted to pay maximum 20 times the bet per handle stroke. Also maximum bet was one krona. About 10 cent in todays exchange rate. At that time the swedish krona was a little stronger than today, about 5.50 to 6 krona for one dollar. This law is also why machines like circus, mustang, las vegas with extra jackpot bonus play become so popular. It was a way to work around the law. All heavy jackpot machines like continental, three line and so on vanished. 1979 all machines where totaly forbidden except on the ferries on international water.

I have one of these slots and the top reel light is not working. Is there a ballast hidden for that somewhere??

Conspiracy theorists would say the machines are rigged to not double on the higher payout plum, but that's just bad/coincidental luck. Have you checked the Double or Nothing reel to see if it's a true 50/50 chance? If it is, nice that you maxed out the cherry win with three doubles-if my math is correct, that had a 12.5% chance of happening.

can anyone please help me! I purchased an older antique 1976 1102 Ballys EM dollar slot machine which came I believe off a cruise ship at sometime? anyway when I got it everything seems to appear to be inside and visually intact? It powers on as it should and excepts dollar coins and light switches from insert credit to accepted but when you go to draw the pull arm to engage the reels the pull arm remains in its locked position like the signal from the coin drop isnt making it over to the relay switch which activates the solenoid that releases the handle to allow draw on the arm and commence game reels to spin? now it can be done manually by opening the machine and reaching into manually make the connectiuon which then allows the arm to be pulled as well as reels spin as they should but also if a pay is landed on across the center line it isnt giving any payout !? in fact I havent gotten the hopper to do anyting or even turn once yet like it to is not getting any electrical signal? is this a common short someone could please walk me through any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
