Your trait of jumping to unfounded conclusions continued, in many ways. You didn't uncover the whole map, for one. Hollow Knight is massive.

The sheer amount of completely wrong and often hilarious conclusions or assumptions you reached about Hollow Knight's lore and characters is astounding to me. 😂 It makes me wonder if you were losing your mind due to infection just like the poor bugs, causing outlandish conclusions based on nothing much? Still, it is an entertaining playthrough, I'll give you that.

People who impose an arbitrary order on areas to visit don't understand the Metroidvania genre. Games of this kind are organised by in-game abilities or key items that block access to certain places. If one can access an area, there is no reason not to do it, other than personal preference. I wouldn't feel comfortable traipsing through Deepnest without the Lumafly Lantern, as a personal choice, but it can be (and has been) done.

It has been six years since this video was released, yet I still feel it important to scold you for murdering the mantises in their own home, after they have long stopped attacking and are instead bowing to you. "Such disrespect!", as the Snail Shaman would put it. 😉

high level play involves restoring your ki and changing stance at the same time (pressing both inputs at the same time) yes you can do that you also have to set up your moveset to have options on every stance

Coming in 6 years late! You, Hollow, are one of two Blind Lets Players who didn't cheese the Nosk fight that I've found. And by cheese I mean sit in the corners of the middle platform and basically just avoid 25% of his(its????) attacks. Its still difficult either way, but I applaud you for doing this boss truly!(Even if you had no idea you could cheese it anyway)

never noticed this before, but the Milkweed rune is literally a stylized Hp (as in h.p lovecraft) which makes sense given the fishing hamlet after the clocktower. also the clocktower dial has the lake rune under it

It’s honestly so crazy every time I come back and watch cus this was my childhood and I thought it was the pinnacle of KZfaq but it only has 28k views. Like it actually has such a small fanbase that when I talk to people who watched Minecraft KZfaqrs around this time they’ve never heard of the crew.

almost 9 years after Bloodborne came out and my 20th rewatch of this and I think that that giggling woman you hear at the abandoned workshop sounds like the end of the sound file with the fearful, obsequious woman across from where you first pick up the church clothes. When she's finished talking she goes "mm *giggle* yes, *giggle*" and that's what this sounds like through my headphones

If anyone is still watching these in 2023, then please listen up. Hollow talks about his problems with DS2 which are of course fair enough if he didn't enjoy the game as much I can't exactly say no you're wrong, HOWEVER, I implore you to watch a certain video called 'In defence of Dark Souls 2 by HbomberGuy (here is link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ibiEmcZ-ytfMmZs.html) Personally, I think DS2 gets a lot of unnecessary hate and is often criticised for not having Miyazaki involved. This video attempts to look past that and really understand what makes DS2 such a great game. Even using Bloodborne to make it clear why in some cases the OG Dark Souls was actually poorly designed. Ultimately it's my opinion anyone has the right to disagree but as someone who agreed with Hollow when he first said he didn't like DS2, I have now changed my mind after watching this video and replaying DS2. Anway much love to you all and Hollow, I miss these times and your videos, hope you are well my friend :) x

That was very intense. But I am very happy the rabbit was found and that they were safe and everything. I know how scary it can be to lose a pet, so my sympathies.

I was wondering where the thumbnail came from. That's awesome.

I prefer playthoughs to streams. Streams have random pop-ups that are very jarring, also it seems like lore gets to be more focused on in playthroughs. Also, I find people's little faces in the corners distracting, nothing against people's faces they just break the immersion.

Personally I really like how the episodes are set up. And so long as it happens eventually I don't mind plans being completed in later episodes.

First off, love every video I've watched on this channel. Swiftly becoming my favourite gaming channel. Also, it was nice to know this channel supports my right to live. It's always hard to know if someone cares about queer things, so it is always heartwarming to know when someone does and definitely makes me feel more comfortable on this channel.
